Cassie and Her Bad Boy Alpha

Chapter 3

Cassie finally reached Sarah's house, saying she lived in the boonies was an understatement.  Sarah met her at the door and helped her carry her stuff in.  She knew that Sarah had a bunch of questions as to what happened with her and Tommy but she was going to have to wait until after they ate.  One thing about Sarah she could cook like it was going out of style and it was the most amazing food Cassie had ever tasted, even better than her mothers.  After they had finished eating they took a dip in the hot tub and then did facials, Sarah couldn't contain her questions anymore so Cassie told her everything. "He's your mate? He said he would change the bad boy/player ways? What did you say to him?" "I told him I needed time. I wasn't rejecting him I just need time, he understood and told me he would use the time to prove he would change. He knows what happened with Scott so he understands where I am at as far as anything serious goes. He may not like it but he is going to have to deal with it if he really wants me as his mate" Cassie told her "And he was ok with that? Like who would've thought our Alpha Bad boy would settle down" "Wait, Alpha? He left that part out, that would make me Luna." Cassie felt like a bomb had went off on her. "I didn't realize that he didn't tell you he was the Alpha of our pack, I am so sorry that I told you" Sarah looked at Cassie with a sympathetic look on her face.  "Its ok Sarah you didn't know he had not told me." Cassie really needed time knowing that she was going to be Luna of god knew how many wolves was like a huge weight on her shoulders that she didn't know if she was ready for.

    As they got done with their facials and were getting ready to watch a movie, Cassie's phone started ringing.  She didn't recognize the number but showed Sarah and she said that she had given her number to Tommy.  ~Hello~ Cassie said as she answered the phone ~Hey Cass, sorry Sarah gave me your number after you left school today I hope that's ok?~ Tommy sounded worried ~Yeah that's fine. You could've just asked for it~ ~Well you had left before I could~ there was silence ~So I just wanted to see if you were ok. When you left in such a hurry after everything I was worried~ ~Yeah, I'm ok. Umm. so weird question, when were you going to tell me you were the Alpha of the pack and that if I became your mate I would be Luna?~ Tommy was quiet for a moment ~I was going to tell you when you actually accepted me as your mate. Tell Sarah she has a big mouth~ in the background you can hear Jake laughing at that comment.  ~Ok I'll tell her.  Anyway I hate to cut this short but I have a sexy vampire calling my name~ ~A VAMPIRE~ Tommy yelled in her ear ~ We are watching a movie will you relax~ Cassie said laughing ~I'll talk to you later~ she didn't give him a chance to answer as she hung up the phone.  Both her and Sarah bust out laughing.

    Sarah's phone went off and it was a text from Jake.{I don't know what Cassie said to tommy but his face is priceless. And what's this about a hot vampire} {We are watching a movie babe. I love you} She put the phone away but not before showing Cassie the text message.  They started laughing again.  It was almost midnight when the movie got over so the girls headed up to the bedroom to get ready for bed.  They got comfy and called it a night.  Before long Sarah was out but Cassie was still awake staring at the ceiling.  She had a weird idea to text Tommy to see if he was still up.  She grabbed her phone and turned the brightness down so it wouldn't wake Sarah. [Hey not sure if you're up or not but I can't sleep] she sent the text and held her breath until she saw her screen light up 2 minutes later [Hey Baby, why can't you sleep] she didn't expect him to text back [ I have to much on my mind. between what happened this week to yesterday with kissing you it's just a lot for a human like me to process] [ LOL. Do you want to get your mind off of things? Promise to have you back before Sarah wakes up] [Sure anything I should wear] [Jeans and t-shirt its warm out] [ok how long do I have] [10 minutes].

    Cassie quickly got dressed and waited on the porch to Sarah's house.  She was a little surprised when she saw a huge black wolf appear out of the trees. She almost screamed but something told her that this wolf wouldn't hurt her.  She wait patiently for the wolf to come up to her.  She saw his eyes and they were ice blue.  The wolf came up to her and she put her hand out and he licked it.  She somehow knew that this was Tommy in wolf form.  The wolf had lay down and nudged for her to climb on his back.  She climbed on and held on tight. She could've swore she heard the wolf chuckle.  They were off like lightening.  They were going fast so she buried her face in the fur of his neck.  When they came to a clearing and the wolf lay down again for her to get off.  She stood there staring at the wolf and heard bones break.  A few minutes there stood Tommy with just a pair of shorts on.  He held his arms open and she gladly accepted the hug because she was shivering.  She felt him kiss her head and smile.  "That was awesome" she finally said "I knew it would help. That was my wolf Jasper, he has been bugging me to meet you since I found out that we were mates." "I was honestly a little scared of him a first when I first saw him" Cassie told him honestly.  Tommy shook his head like he knew that she was.  They sat and talked for what seemed like hours.  Cassie lay her head on his shoulder and started dozing off. "Time to get you back baby or I'm gonna have to carry you like a pup back to Sarah's" "Just five more minutes" Cassie begged as she made a mental note that that was the second time that he called her baby. Tommy chuckled and told her they had to get back. She grumbled as she agreed. Tommy had shifted back to Jasper before Cassie got up. She climbed up and held on tight.  Next thing she knew she was at Sarah's door.  Tommy was standing next to her.  "You fell asleep on me baby girl" "I'm sorry" she said with a pout.  Tommy held the door open for her as she stepped inside and turned to face Tommy "Can we do that again tomorrow? Scotts coming over and I really don't want to be around him or my brother." " We'll see baby girl. You go get some sleep or you wont be any use to anyone in the morning" Cassie pouted and Tommy kissed her cheek. "Goodnight, Baby girl." Tommy was gone before she could even say goodnight to him.  She made her way upstairs and like clockwork Sarah was still sleeping soundly and didn't even realize she had left.

    The next morning Cassie didn't want to get out of bed.  Sarah thought it was odd because Cassie was always up before 9 and here it was almost 11 and she was still sleeping soundly.  Her phone had been going nuts since 8:30 which is what woke Sarah up.  Finally she was able to get Cassie up.  "Will you check your damn phone. I don't know whos trying to get you but they have been blowing it up since 8:30 this morning" Sarah told her kind of annoyed. " Yeah sorry. and sorry I slept so late. I must've been more tired than I thought" Cassie smiled and checked her phone. 3 missed calls, 1 from her parents,1 from Scott, and lastly 1 from Tommy, and 10 texts, 3 from her parents letting her know they were going on a long weekend, 2 from Scott asking if she was ok with him being at her house to help James, and 5 from Tommy asking her if she had a good night and how she slept and asking if they were still good for today.  she quickly told her parents to have fun and that she would be safe, she ignored and deleted Scotts messages and lastly responded to Tommy having him pick her up in his car at 5.

     Smiling she put her phone down and saw Sarah's face. "ok little miss spill" "what's there to spill?" "well Jake said that Tommy had left last night and didn't come back till 3 this morning and you overslept so where you to together?" Dammit Jake Cassie thought "Yes I was with Tommy he showed up cause I couldn't sleep I went on his wolf and we talked" "SHUT UP HE LET YOU RIDE JASPER?" Sarah screamed "Yeah what's the big deal" "That's like the purest form of trust and love." Cassie just rolled her eyes at her "Seriously he has never let anyone ride his wolf not even the pups" "oh" was all Cassie could say.  She left soon after and got home with just enough time to change and meet Tommy.
