Cassie and Her Bad Boy Alpha

Chapter 12

It had been 3 months since Cassie first shifted, she was getting stronger every day. She even managed to beat Jake in a makeshift wrestling match. Some pack members said that he let her win but Cassie knew that that wasn't the case, he put his all into it but she outshone him. Tommy made a bet on the match, made the mistake of betting against Cassie.

They had come closer to finding out who killed her mother, they had names and where the people were located. The worst part was that they were in Cassie’s old neighborhood. She walked by the address that was given every day. She was furious. She wanted them dead. She had not heard from her “parents” since she left, she wasn't shocked about that.

Tommy had kept one thing from Cassie when it came to who killed her mother. It what actually the woman she called mother. He had found out that Susan had killed Cassie’s mother. He kept it to himself not telling a sole. Susan knew what Cassie was from the moment that she was born, she was the one who delivered Cassie. She just had to wait for the right time to strike. She wanted to use Cassie to get revenge for wolves killing her brother. She thought that Cassie would end up hating the wolves since she drilled it into her head that there were bad people that had hurt her family.

Tommy had sent out warriors to scope out Cassie’s old house for any signs of attacks. He kept the house under surveillance for a few weeks. He saw that Susan was furious when she learned that Cassie had shifted and was with the Black Moon pack, she knew she couldn't touch Cassie there. What Tommy didn't know was that Susan had a plan up her sleeve.

He had wanted to tell Cassie what he had found out about the people that raised her but he couldn't find the right words to tell her. She had been training with the pack and her father daily, she also took on the duties as Luna. They hadn't had the Luna ceremony yet that officially made her the packs Luna but they had more important things to worry about first. He had his mother on the celebration planning just to keep her occupied, his father and Jake had been helping him with the current situation and he had Cassie’s father keeping her busy with training, and Sarah kept tried her best to help Cassie control her wolf.

After a few weeks of watching Cassie’s old home, Tommy learned that Susan, Jeff, James, and Scott were planning something. He didn't like it, he knew he had to tell Cassie about her so-called family. He called her into his office and sat her down, he had her father there too. He tried to make this as painless as he could. He told her everything that he had found. As expected she wasn't happy that he kept everything from her but understood why he did. She wasn't pleased that Susan and Jeff thought they could get away with what they had done, what hurt her the most is that she called them her family and they betrayed her, they knew what she was and never said anything about it. She understood, sort of, why James had acted as he did toward her.

Susan, Jeff, James, and Scott all knew they were being watched and followed. They knew that Tommy and Cassie had figured it all out. They had to be sneaky about their moves from now on. They wanted Cassie back and use her to their advantage, it would be harder now that she knew everything that they had done but they had to try. Susan was the most furious about everything, she had drilled in Cassie’s head that bad people killed her uncle but didn’t tell her that it was the wolves. She had known what Cassie was from the second she was born, she knew Cassie would come to be great use to her for her revenge. She never planned for Cassie to be mated with the Alpha of the pack or that she would have a best friend that was a werewolf, let alone be accepted as the Luna of Black Moon Pack.

Tommy added extra men to the security detail around the house, he even called for help from the neighboring packs. He wasn't sure 100% what he was up against and he wanted to be prepared for anything. He made sure Cassie had at least 2 warriors with her at all times, he knew Susan and Jeff would do whatever they could to get Cassie back in their clutches and he wanted her safe. She didn’t agree with the extra protection but she didn’t say anything to Tommy about it, she knew he just wanted to keep her safe. They both knew that when they did try to attack they would be ready, what they didn’t know as that there would be major casualties on both sides.
