Chapter 11

It was the day of Cassie’s 18th birthday, and she was less than thrilled about it. Sherry had done an amazing job throwing her party together and picking out the most beautiful Navy Blue dress. She was in no mood for a party. She had spent the past few days locked in the bathroom, barely eating, all because of the news that Tommy had given her. If she didn’t get her wolf she was going to die it was that simple. Everyone had tried to talk to her and tell her they would find away around it all but she shut them out. She wanted to be alone and that was it. She did feel bad for yell at them all but they just wouldn't stop.

Before she knew it, it was time for her to head down to her birthday party. She had gotten ready a few hours ago and was just sitting on the floor when a knock was heard from the door. “Baby, its time to go down for your party. I know it seems pointless but my mom worked really hard on it for you. I am sure she would appreciate it if you just came down and made an appearance. You don’t even have to stay for the whole thing” Tommy was pleading with her from the other side of the door. She knew both him and Jasper were hurting and it was because of her but right at this moment, she didn’t care. “I will be down in a few minutes Tommy, please leave” she replied to him, sounding harsher than intended “I was hoping I might be able to walk you down, that is if that is ok with you?” “fine give me a few minutes” it then went back to silence from Cassie.

She slowly opened the door and Tommy’s mouth hit the floor, she looked stunning. “You look, beautiful baby,” Tommy told her while trying to keep his chin off the floor, even jasper agreed. “Let's just get this over with,” Cassie said blankly. She followed Tommy to the stairs and took his hand when offered. “The guest of honor has arrived” Sherry exclaimed when she saw them at the top of the stairs, her eyes shone when she looked at Cassie. Tommy led Cassie down the stairs slowly so she could take everything in. Everyone was there including Steven, Jake, Sarah, Sherry, and Jerry, along with the entire pack. After all its not every day they get to have a big party for someone's birthday.

Cassie plastered a smile on her face hoping no one would notice that it was fake. She thanked everyone for coming and told them to enjoy the party. She made her rounds, getting hugs from people and handshakes from others. Her last stop was her father. He told her she looked beautiful and happy birthday. He tried to hide it but she could see the fear in his eyes. No one knew what was going to happen after tonight. She figured she might as well enjoy it while it lasts. She found Tommy, Sarah, and Jake talking in a corner. As she made her way up to them Tommy spotted her. He walked over to her and put his arm around her waist holding her close. “Don’t let me interrupt” Cassie said to them “We were just talking about how Sherry can really whip up a party when she wants to” Tommy assured her. She looked at Sarah and Jake, they confirmed what Tommy had said. She just shrugged her shoulders. She leaned in to whisper something to Tommy that turned him red as a cherry. “Excuse us guys, the birthday girl made her wish,” Tommy told them and pretty much dragged her away. Sherry saw them leave and just chuckled to herself.

As they made their way away from the thundering music Tommy stopped at the bedroom door and looked at Cassie “Are you sure you want to do this now?” he asked her looking for reassurance “100% sure. If I am bound to die within the week I at least want to know what all the talk is about” she replied blushing. Tommy didn't have to be told twice. He flung open the door to their bedroom and carried her in bridal style. He gently placed her on the bed. He stood there admiring her, she looked like an angel, his angel. He took his shirt and pants off leaving only his boxers on and gently stood her up and began undressing her. He was in awe at her beauty. She turned away from him shyly, he grabbed her arm and turned her back to face him. He started placing kisses all over her face catching her lips with his. She gasped as she deepened the kiss, long for him, which made him internal growl. She ran her hands down his back and up his chest memorizing every muscle in his upper body. They made their way back down onto the bed, Tommy kissing every inch of her body memorizing every inch of her, not missing any part of her. She let out a small moan of pleasure and Tommy worked his way back up to her mouth, he kissed her deeply and moaned in her mouth as is member ground against her panties. He took off his boxers and her underwear, he looked at her once more for approval and told her that it is going to hurt at first and she nodded her head. He slowly slid into trying to make it not as painful. She grabbed the sheets in pain and a tear slid down her cheek. Tommy kissed it away and pushed slowly into her so he was completely buried inside of her. He gave her a few minutes to adjust to his size, slowly kissing her cheeks. He then began going in and out of her slowly as to not hurt her. She began to moan in pleasure and he matched her moans. He kissed her neck, n****e, and her lips. She started matching his pace “Oh god baby, you are going to make me explode” he said to her. He was leaving marks all over her body and came to the spot where her mate mark should go. He bit down and she screamed in both pain and pleasure. He quickly licks his mark so it healed. They both finished together and lay in bed catching their breath.

“That was awesome Tommy. But why did you bite me?” “I marked you so the others will know you are taken” “Oh, do I get to mark you now,” Cassie asked him slyly. He nodded and she started kissing where his mark would go and she bit him just like he had bitten her. She smiled as she pulled away from him. She was at peace knowing they were each others.

The peace between them didn’t last long as Cassie started screaming in agony. She threw herself on the floor and started scratching at her body. Tommy mind linked Sarah and his mother to come help. They came rushing into the room with concern written on their face. Tommy told them what had happened and then said that she just started screaming. “She is shifting,” Sherry said in shock “Your kidding,” Tommy said looking in disbelief. He felt every single wave of pain that passed over Cassie. It broke his heart.

When all the pain subsided Cassie felt different. She was confused when she saw Sherry and Sarah standing in the doorway. She looked toward Tommy and his mouth was open in shock. “What are you guys looking at” Cassie tried to say but instead all that came out was dog yelps. She was in shock. Tommy was able to have her look in a mirror and in front of her stood a beautiful Black and White wolf with White and Blue eyes. She couldn't believe it she wasn't going to die after all. She was able to shift back without pain.

Tommy wrapped her up in a huge hug, he was crying. She was then smothered with hugs from Sarah and Sherry. She couldn't breathe. “Um, guys, Tommy and I are still naked can you please let us go, and then we can go down to and tell everyone the good news,” Cassie asked and they shyly left. She then looked at Tommy and saw he was still crying. She wiped away his tears and without saying a word she jumped in his arms and kissed him deeply.

Tommy was speechless, he was so happy that he wouldn't be losing Cassie. He couldn't help but cry. He wrapped her in a tight hug that was from both him and Jasper. His mother and Sarah had also joined in the hugs. They only let them go when Cassie reminded them that they were naked. Cassie told them to let Tommy and her get dressed and they would be down to deliver the wonderful news.

Reluctantly, they got redressed, Cassie decided to put on yoga pants and a tank top and did her hair up in a bun to show off her mark. Tommy put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. They headed back down to the party and told everyone what had happened. They were all excited that they wouldn't be losing their Luna anytime soon. Cassie’s father was excited that he is getting to keep his daughter and not have to worry about her dying.

The party was winding down, and Cassie was beginning to get exhausted. She was leaning against Tommy while saying goodbye to everyone. Thankfully, Tommy knew she was getting tired and let his mother finish saying goodbye and took her upstairs and drew her hot bath, and let her relax. She finished her bath and snuggled in bed with Tommy. She soon fell asleep and Tommy wasn't that far behind her.
