Cassie and Her Bad Boy Alpha

Chapter 6

It had been 3 weeks since Cassie had been in the hospital. She hated to be home but her so called parent’s kept her home from school for a few weeks just to make sure she was 100%. She didn’t speak to them much or her brother, James for that matter. She spent most of her time in her room. Sarah always came by after school with the work she had missed and Tommy came by a few times at night to take her to their spot. She hadn’t spoke to Steven, her real father during that time. She wasn’t sure what to say to him and she hadn’t wanted to ask Susan and Jeff about it. She knew what she wanted to say to them but couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Sarah showed up on the dot at 4:30 with Cassie school work. They hadn’t had a chance to talk either. No one was home so Cassie figured now was a good a time as any. “Sarah, I know you have a bunch of questions that I haven’t answered since you called while I was in the hospital and I am sorry for that” “its all good Cass, Tommy filled me in on some of it, like your parents really aren’t your parents and how you are half human and half werewolf, which is awesome by the way. I know you have been through a lot the past few weeks so when you are ready to tell me the rest you will” “Well, at least you know the best part. But how it all came about it weird. For starters, Tommy and I went out to have a picnic but when he picked me up James and Scott started being assholes, saying that I couldn’t go blah blah blah. James grabbed me to keep me from going and I punched him. When Tommy and I got to our picnic we fell asleep, me on Jasper, when I woke up they were no where in sight, I thought they had left me there and then I saw Jasper coming out of the woods. We ate and then this rogue showed up, apparently he was looking for his daughter who disappeared 17 years ago and Tommy had let him search for her on the territory. Well he came up to us and told both Tommy and I that I was his lost daughter. I passed out and when I woke up I was in the hospital, they had done a DNA test and it proved that this man, Steven, was actually my father. My mother died when I was taken but she was human. Long story short I may or may not end up with a wolf but I have wolf strength so that why I have been super aggressive this past month” Cassie finally took a breath and Sarah just stared at her with her mouth open. “Damn” was all Sarah was able to say. She wrapped Cassie in a hug and told her that if she needed help with anything just say the word. She left but promised she would be back.

Cassie sat back on her bed after Sarah left. She stared at the pile of work in front of her and sighed. Why did I have to take all these extra classes she thought to herself. Just as she was ready to dive into her school work her phone went off. It was Scott, she ignored it, he was the last person she wanted to talk to. He kept calling until she shut off her phone. Shortly after she heard cars pull into the driveway, she assumed her parents were home so she ignored it. She then heard the yelling coming from downstairs. She made her way to the top of the stairs and peered down. She saw Tommy standing over Scott and James, both holding their stomachs in pain. She was in shock. “Hi beautiful, I missed you” Tommy said looking up at her with a smile on his face “get your jacket and some clothes I am breaking you out of here.” Cassie was confused because she really wasn't a prisoner in her house she just wasn't allowed to leave or see anyone except Sarah until her parents thought she was better. Regardless, she ran and got her coat and her bag of clothes, she kept a bag packed for last minute sleepovers at Sarah's. She ran downstairs just as Scott was getting up. He grabbed her to stop her and she slapped him “Don’t ever touch me again and lose my number. If you hadn't noticed I want nothing to do with you” James then got up and smack her across the face “Don t you ever talk to my friends like that” he shouted at her. He went to swing again but she caught his arm, eyes turning black, she snapped his arm in half and left him crying in pain on the floor “Tell your parents that I left, I won’t be back” Cassie said as she walked out of the house with Tommy's arm around her waist.

Cassie looked like she was still ready to kick someone's ass as she got into Tommy’s car. “You ok babe?” Tommy asked her “just drive” she responded. Her voice was scratchy. They drove in silence to Sarah’s house. When they got there Sarah came out of the house. She took one look at Cassie and knew instantly what had happened. Sarah just smiled as she looked at Cassie’s face, her eyes slowly losing the black that had taken over the blue, she then turned to Tommy “what did you do to piss her off?” Sarah asked him laughing “it wasn't me it was Scott and James.”

Apparently when Tommy showed up to see Cassie he was met by her “brother” and Scott at the door. James wasn't happy to see him and wanted to beat the crap out of him and so did Scott. They were both upset about how things ended last time he was at their house. James told Tommy that Cassie didn’t want to see him and that she was back together with Scott to which Tommy called BS and that is when the fight that Cassie heard broke out. Cassie hated those boys before she was ready to kill them now. Thank god Tommy knew what they were saying wasn't true, thanks to the mate bond. Jasper was none to happy with how everything turned out either, he wanted to kill bot James and Scott but Tommy wouldn't let him.

“Babe, I hate leaving you here by yourself but I know Sarah will protect you I have to take care of something” Tommy said “ok, you do what you need to do ill be here waiting” Cassie said to him. She kissed him, which calmed both him and Jasper down. Before he left he mind linked Jack {I need you over at Sarah’s} {be there in 5 minutes} Jack replied sounding scared {Sarah is fine but Cassie needs extra protection} {oh ok. Ill be there soon}. “I have Jack coming over to for added protection in case those two show up” Tommy told the girls. He then left to go for a run to get Jasper calmed down.

Jack showed up a few minutes after Tommy had left. He gave Sarah a hug and kiss, happy she was ok. “So what did Scott and James do now?” he asked. Sarah filled him in and Cassie filled in what Sarah had missed. Jack knew they were assholes but he never thought they would be this bad. He also was filled in on the whole Cassie being half werewolf and about her real parents. He stood there in shock with all the information he was just told. Sarah suggested they go inside and kill time until Tommy got back. They decided on a movie.

 Cassie turned her phone back on and called her father. She filled him in on everything that had happened and told him that she would have Tommy take her to see him when he got back. Steven was relieved to know that she was ok but wasn’t happy about what had happened. Cassie assured him that everything would be ok and that she would see him soon. As she hung up the phone she got another call, it was her “parents” she ignored it and went back to watching the movie. She ended up falling asleep, the fight earlier had drained her. When she woke up she realized she was in someone's arms, she looked up and saw Tommy. “Morning sleepy head” he said laughing Cassie slapped his arm and snuggled back closer to him. “You guys hungry” Jack said walking into the living room “Sarah stress cooking and you don’t know what your missing” he chuckled “we’ll be right there” Cassie said as she sat up. She looked at Tommy “Sarah cooking is to die for” she told him. They got up and headed for the kitchen as the smell of food hit them in the face. Their mouths started watering. They both knew Sarah could cook and Cassie knew stress cooking was the best because it wasn't just sweets but it was everything else too.
