Cassie and Her Bad Boy Alpha

Chapter 5

Cassie had been out for almost 3 days before she came back around. The doctor had said it was shock that cause her to pass out, that and some injuries that made Tommy want to rip James’s head off even more. The man that had been in the clearing had been checked in as a guest of Black Moon so he was no threat to anyone anymore. Tommy had a lot of questions for this man, Steven, who claims that Cassie is his missing daughter but he figure when Cassie woke up she should be the first to question him.

Neither man had left Cassie’s side since she passed out in the field. Tommy caught her before she hit the ground and Steven rushed to her side. Tommy growled at him and he took a step back but helped him anyway. There was no way that Cassie was human and half werewolf. The doctor had done a DNA test while they waited for Cassie to come around and it was proven that this man was in fact Cassie’s father and that she was half werewolf as well. Tommy wasn’t sure how well she was going to take any of this.

Cassie stirred and looked at the men beside her. She recognized Tommy but the other man she had no clue who he was or what he was doing here. The last thing she remembered was him saying that she was his lost daughter which she knew he was mistaken. She was Susan and Jeff’s daughter, at least that is what she thought. She didn’t know what to think anymore to be honest. Tommy and this man were talking so he must not be a threat. Cassie cleared her throat and the guys shut up and looked at her. Tommy was the first to speak “Hey Baby, you're a sight for sore eyes. You gave me quite a scare” he said kissing her hand “How long have I been out” “3 days” Cassie just shook her head. “Who are you” she asked turning to the other man in the room “I am Steven, and what I said the other day is true you are my daughter” “How am I your daughter, I am Susan and Jeff’s daughter. I am not a werewolf like you so that doesn't make any sense” “I don't know what to say except 17 years ago I was out with my pack and when I came home your mother, Scooter, was dead and you were gone. I went crazy trying to find you and your mothers killers. Your mother was human just like you and she was my mate. I had a DNA test done if you don't believe my words” Cassie was in shock. She asked to see the results hoping they were wrong but there in Black and white was the results they were a 99% match. She didn’t know what to say so she just sat there.

Her whole life had been a lie. She didn’t even know who she was anymore. She wasn’t even sure she wanted Steven as her father. “What was the name you gave me at birth” she asked not sure she wanted the answer “Your name by birth is Cassandra, but from what I have heard it was changed to Cassie” Steven replied. “Well at least its close to the name I was given when I was taken” she laughed. The guys looked at her like she had lost her mind. She didn’t know how to cope with all this information so she just laughed until her stomach hurt.

She was still laughing when Tommy and Steven went to find the doctor to get her released so she could get some fresh air. They had to wait another half hour to get her released but at least she had stopped laughing by the time they got back. She looked like she had questions for both of them. They sat down and waited for her to speak. She took a deep breath and looked at them both she wasn’t sure what she wanted to say. “Umm.. I’m not 100% sure how to ask this but Steven, what does it mean that I am half human and half werewolf? Will I get a wolf like the rest of the werewolves or am I just a normal human?” she asked him hesitantly “Well you aren’t the first half and half, but everyone is different, it means that you may or may not get a wolf or you will have the strength of the wolf but not the form. There are some cases that the person is 100% human without any abilities. Everyone is different.” “That makes sense” Tommy chimed in “when you beat up Carol your eyes turned black and it happened again when you punched James” “So she has at least the strength of the wolf but she isn’t 18 yet so we will have to wait and see what happens then” Steven said. “Tommy, can I ask you something?” Cassie turned to Tommy, her voice was just above a whisper “Anything Baby” “Do you still want me as your mate and Luna even though I might be some sort of freak.” She wasn’t sure she wanted the answer to that question, she felt her heart start to tear into little pieces “Baby, don’t ever think that I wouldn't want you as my mate and Luna. I doesn’t matter to me what you are. You could be a frog for all I care and I would still want you. When you thought you were just a human I still wanted you. Please don’t ever think I don't” Tommy kissed her and she knew then that he would stay no matter what “Well I don't think I need anymore time to give you your answer” she said back to him and gave him another kiss, forgetting Steven was in the room with them. Steven broke up the kiss by clearing his throat. She blushed crimson.

 They waited for the doctor in silence. Cassie had a huge smile on her face and hadn’t let go of Tommy’s hand. Steven was going to take some getting used to, considering the information he had planted on her in the past couple days. Cassie was broke out of her thoughts by her phone going off, it was her parents, or the people she thought were her parents, she ignored it. She didn’t feel like talking to them at the moment. Her phone rang again and this time it was Sarah. Cassie answered it and got an ear full from Sarah. Apparently she had been trying to get a hold of someone to find out what happened. Cassie told her that she would fill her in when they were face to face. Sarah calmed down and just said that she was worried about her and wanted to make sure she was ok. She was released shortly after she hung up the phone and was told to take it easy for a few days, which Tommy took as waiting on her all the time, she didn't mind.
