Two Days Later…
Most mornings are started with Atlas and I am getting ready to leave, but this morning wasn’t like that. It was raining heavily when I woke up two hours ago and it is still raining. I am contemplating whether or not I should wake him up for school. It is currently 6 am, and I want him to stay home because I might also stay in. Nothing is worth letting him go to school in this weather.
When I went up the stairs to his room, he was fast asleep under the comforter. I walked into the room and sat down on the bed. I brushed his hair from his face before shaking his body gently.
