“So, what are you going to tell him?” Claire asked. I just shared the news with them that my period is later, and I booked an appointment for tomorrow.
“He already knows that my period is late. I don’t think I am pregnant, though. I think I’d know,” I said, smiling.
“Alright, if you say so, I guess,” She said, then sighed. I took my phone from my pocket to see if I had any messages from Aarini, but there were none.
“Why did your fiancé choose to be a bodyguard when he came here?” Carly asked, sipping her juice.
“I have no idea, but he did a very good job at it. He managed to stay under the radar, even changed his appearance, so I guess that’s why it worked,” I responded, and then laughed.
