A pair of black jeans and a white T-shirt would have been enough for a date, right? Of course, that was exactly what I had planned to wear because the date wasn’t necessarily outdoors. Well, it sort of is. Instead of wearing a plain white T-shirt, I wore a red, white, and navy blue striped buttoned-down, short-sleeved shirt that I bought yesterday. It looked nice and I wore a pair of white sneakers.
This date is something different, I must say. My usual dates would go to an expensive restaurant or someplace where I would spend $1,000 or more. Tonight was a more mature date, in my opinion, and my excitement was through the roof. I texted Dianna and told her that she should be ready because I was on my way. I grabbed my car keys and left the house.
