The next morning, I woke up to a bright light shining through the window. I felt strangely better after getting some rest. Looking around, I didn't find my bags anywhere, so I couldn't get changed. I decided to look out the window instead. Maybe it would give me an idea of how to escape the twins. I needed to come up with a good plan. I was lost in my thoughts when the twins unlocked the doors to the bedroom and walked in.
"Glad that you are awake." Brendon said as he walked in with Brandon following behind him.
"I'm hungry, it's time for breakfast." Brandon growled at me.
Brandon turned and left the room before I could even respond. Brendon walked up and grabbed my arm, then led me down the stairs into the kitchen. The kitchen looked like it was the kind of kitchen you would find in a restaurant. Everything was basically out in the open, so it was easy to start cooking breakfast after they left. I made breakfast burritos and white gravy. It was simple. The twins walked back in as I was pulling the burritos out of the oven.
"It smells good." Brandon gruffed.
"We will help you set the table since you are still new to all of this." Brendon said.
"Thank you." I said. I might as well try to get on their good side.
Brendon started to grab the plates and silverware and Brandon grabbed the glasses and the juice. I followed them into the dining room and set the burritos and gravy down in the center of the table while they sat out three places. After they finished setting the table, they sat down, there were three plates and they left one in the middle. I started to put two burritos on each plate before spooning some of the gravy on top of them. Brandon didn't wait for anyone else, he started to eat as soon as I was done with his plate. I went to stand in the corner of the room. I wasn't going to sit down without their permission. There was no need to get on their bad sides, not if I wanted a chance to escape. Brendon noticed me standing in the corner and smiled a little before gesturing for me to sit down in the empty chair between them.
"Very good of you to wait for permission. There are a few things you should know though. First, you will eat your meals with us so we can monitor your food intake. Second, you will be going with us everywhere we tell you to go and you will be happy to do so. Third, you will obey without question." Brendon informed me as I sat down.
"I am going for a run in the woods later. You will come with me." Brandon told me as he finished the last of his burritos and started to put more on his plate.
"Yes sir." I looked down at my own plate and started eating.
This could be the chance I was looking for to scout the property and look for my escape. Even if Brandon never let me out of his sight, it would be helpful to get a good look around. If I had an idea of how the property was laid out, I would have a better chance to escape. If I were lucky, I would be able to learn the way around pretty fast. I would be able to map out my escape routes if everything was simple enough to remember. I hadn't expected them to let me out of the house so soon, so there was no way I was going to pass up this opportunity. We finished the rest of our breakfast in silence with both of them rubbing their hands on my legs.
After everyone finished their breakfast, I gathered up all the dishes and took them back to the kitchen to start cleaning. It didn't take long to get the dishes finished. Brandon came in and waited as I finished drying and putting up the dishes. When I turned around he sat a bag on top of the island in the middle of the kitchen and pushed it towards me. I tentatively walked toward it and opened the bag. There were some new clothes inside but not the kind I would normally wear. The clothes were extremely revealing and skimpy. I used to wear some short shorts and tank tops but I never wore anything with the neckline plunging pretty low, there was even lingerie in the bag. I looked back up at Brandon and saw him smirking at me.
"Um.. Thank... Thank you." I mumbled as I looked away.
"You're very welcome little wolf." he hadn't even bothered to hide the humor from his voice.
"I will go put these up now." I still couldn't bring myself to face him.
"Good and then meet me by the front door." with that he turned and walked out of the kitchen.
I grabbed the bag and walked up the stairs to put the bag in the closet of my room. I didn't bother to actually hang them up, I just sat them on the floor of the closet and closed the door back. Taking a deep breath, I walked back down the stairs and saw Brandon waiting by the front door. He had been leaning against the wall and looking at his phone by the time I arrived at the top of the stairs. He never looked up from his phone screen while I walked hesitantly down the stairs. He glanced up when I reached the last step and put his phone in his pocket before grabbing my hand. With my hand secure in his own, he opened the door and we walked outside.
"Ready for our run?" Brandon asked with a glint in his eyes.
"Yes." I responded as I looked around.
There were buildings on the edge of the large yard. A few of them looked like sheds and the rest just looked like regular little buildings with no way to tell what was hidden behind their doors. Brandon was dragging me to the edge of the property towards the woods while I was trying just to get a good look at my surroundings. When we reached the woods, Brandon finally let go of my hand and started to take his clothes off. I looked away and wrapped my arms around my torso. He let out a chuckle that turned into a low growl. I turned back around to find him in his wolf form. His eyes still held that mischievous glint to them so I ducked behind a tree to remove my clothes for the shift.
Once I was in my wolf form, I stepped out from behind the tree. He came up to me and I lowered my head to the ground without looking at him. He started to walk around me and I cowered, I tucked my tail between my legs and took a tentative step forward. He had circled all the way around me and was now standing in front of me again. He nudged me and I looked up just enough to see him. He started to walk and I took off after him. We walked for a while with him looking back occasionally to make sure I was still behind him. It didn't take long and he broke out into a run, so I picked up my pace to keep up with him.
We ran for a while and the whole time I kept focusing on the directions we went and the scents around me. I tried to force myself to remember everything I could, I would need it for my escape. He eventually started to run even faster and I had to put more of my concentration into not running into things. I had lost all sense of direction and had no idea which direction we had even come from anymore. Before too long, we came to a very small clearing. The only thing in the small area was just grass surrounded by trees. The sun shone perfectly and I couldn't stop myself from walking forward and lying in the light. The warmth of the sun felt wonderful on my fur.
It took a few minutes for me to realize Brandon hadn't followed me into the clearing. I looked around and expected to see him on the edge of the woods but he wasn't there. He was nowhere to be seen. My heart started to race just a little bit. Did I dare to try and run now? I sniffed the air but I didn't even smell anyone or anything being too close to me. It was my perfect opportunity if I really dared to take this chance. The longer I waited to decide, the more chance he had to realize I wasn't right beside him. This choice was now or never. I didn't have the time to sit and think about it. I took off at a fast sprint. I had no clue where I was heading, but if I ran in a straight line I had to come out of these woods somewhere.
I didn't look back, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and I didn't bother to look back. I took the chance I had and now I had to make it count. I was so close to getting my freedom and I could almost taste it. There was nothing that would stop me now, I would run for as long as I had to. I never let myself believe that I was finally free. If I had, Brandon would have surely caught up with me and taken me back to their house. The longer I let myself think he was too close to me, the longer my adrenaline would last and I could run farther. I had to put as much distance between Brandon and myself as I could manage to do. I wouldn't quit running until I had no choice. I ran for hours and only finally stopped when I could no longer breathe and my legs hurt too badly to move forward.
I laid down in the middle of the woods to regain my strength. I couldn't quit panting and was thirsty beyond belief. There was no water anywhere around me, so all I could hope for was that I could eventually catch my breath. I kept sniffing the air hoping to find no trace of Brandon's scent while I waited for my breath to return to me and my muscles to quit aching. A whimper escaped from my mouth as I tried to move my legs. I didn't like lying out in the open like I was, so I would have to make myself move as soon as I could. I needed to get into some underbrush while I still had time. There was no doubt in my mind that by now Brendon and Brandon were both out looking for me.
There was no turning back from my choices, I had to keep pushing forward. I winced as I made myself get up and walk over to a pile of underbrush between some of the trees. I dug myself a little den and crawled in to hide myself from view in case they passed by this way. I curled up in a little ball and wrapped my tail around my legs before laying my head down. This will have to keep me safe until I can get far away from the twins. Keeping my ears perked up to listen for any possible threats, I allowed myself to doze off in my little den.
