"The next award is the Best Actor of the Year, and the nominees are shown on the screen," a silvery high-pitched voice that represented the youthfulness of its owner, echoed through the speakers in a big hall-like venue, followed by loud claps and upbeat music. The source of the voice was a beautiful and petite woman in her 20s, dressed in an elegant black gown, standing against the mic podium. Adjacent to her was a big screen on which, one by one, the pictures of the award nominees came up, followed by their individual close-up, respectively, who was seated among the audience. "And to present this award, I would like to invite the Movie King, Mr Mo Tae Hyun, together with the gorgeous Ms Hae Mi Young. Please give a round of applause for them," the anchor's voice rang in everyone's ears once again. Not long after she finished speaking, the big LED screen changed to the scene of a man and a woman walking gracefully hand in hand through a lightened corridor, that eventually led them to the stage. Both of them smiled as the screen showed their camera close-up. To briefly introduce their appearance, the man was dressed in a black three-piece suit, his rich blonde hair properly done, he excluded a radiant and pleasant aura, but his honey-brown orbs seemed distant. Nevertheless, his next move was totally different. The cheers became louder, as Tae Hyun winked at the camera. The jade-skinned woman next to him, in a baby pink satin silk wedding gown, gorgeous as the anchor had described, seemed like a dazzling and effervescent personality. They appeared to be a perfect couple. The camera continued to cover them even after they reached the centre of the stage and stood in front of the mics. This time, a husky yet fruity voice greeted the spectators' ears, and the words that they could perceive were, "The winner of the Best Actor this year," followed by the soft-spoken delivery of Hae Mi Young, "Mr Cho Min Ki, from the drama Failure Romance." No sooner did she announce the name of the winner, than the big screen that was earlier focused on the couple, now showed a person seated among the audience, who was now the centre of attention. He got up graciously, with a bright smile and, adjusting his suit, started walking towards the stage. He proceeded, giving the camera a haughty nod. Stopping in front of his award givers, he gave a slight bow and accepted the slender black trophy the actress passed him. When he got the mic to speak, his words were, "I'd like to thank everyone on the jury and my fans for seeing me worthy of this gracious award. I am also honoured to accept this award from Tae Hyun Sunbae-nim, who helped me a lot with his guidance and support." .... Backstage in the green room, the door was opened in a rush, and Mo Tae Hyun entered the room, followed by a man in his 30s, dressed in simple clothes. "Ha! Guidance and support? Isn't he the punk who told the media that he saw me coming out of a bar with a woman? And the next day, all the tabloids had labelled me as a playboy." Mun Young Sun, the manager, couldn't help but flinch at this statement and took this moment to curse the company inwardly. In the early days of Tae Hyun's acting career, he had been invited to the success party of one of the dramas he starred in. Mo Tae Hyun's driver had mistakenly dropped him at the bar instead of the given location. It was only after they went in that they came to know it was a bar! A waitress working there, who had just ended her shift, helped them out and that was the moment Cho Min Ki spotted them. The next day on a reality show, he mentioned it, but then shut his mouth as if he had said that by mistake, but the deed was done. All the news articles started talking about the incident, and when the PR team of his company had their chance of dealing with it, they released an article denying it as a misunderstanding and mentioning that Mo Tae Hyun was in the hospital for his dog's check-up. But he didn't have any dogs to begin with. In the contrast, he didn't like dogs! Yet, he had to buy one, to prove the company's claim! Now that they look back on the incident, that was such a dumb thing to do! From then on, Cho Min Ki had become an eyesore for him. Back to the present, Young Sun's phone buzzed suddenly in his pocket, and when he took it out to check, his blood had run cold. Tae Hyun was already annoyed because of Cho Min Ki, now if he told him this, Tae Hyun would lash out at him. "What happened?" The actor questioned his puzzled manager. "That-," Young Sun hesitated. Even though Mo Tae Hyun usually had a bright personality, he was deeply sceptical of the news tabloids aimed at him. He hated them publishing news about him without confirming. "You and Hae Mi Young are dating!" "What?" a bit of disgust appeared in Tae Hyun's eyes but was soon replaced by confusion. "I mean, Escandlo published an article saying it. Though they didn't mention names, netizens think it's you and Hae Mi Young." Tae Hyun sighed deeply. Not again! This was the third time this week a piece of news like this had appeared. "What should we do now?" Young Sun asked, gathering courage, and passing his phone to the person affected. Reading the article that mentioned, 'Actor M and Actress M', Tae Hyun couldn't help but sigh deeply. After a long pause, he said, "Let's just go to the company."
