Kysenia banged on the door of the penthouse suite, glancing left and right at the vampire guards stationed outside. They didn’t seem particularly surprised to see her.
The door was swept open and Dimitri’s grinning face leaned out the door.
“Kysenia! What a wonderful surprise, how did you find out I was here so fast?”
She twisted her mouth. “I tried to contact you...”
“Oh, you need to talk?” His grin got wider. “You better come in then…”
Kysenia rolled her eyes at the charade and stepped in as Dimitri slid sideways to allow her in. As she past him the two guards both sidestepped inwards and blocked Talon and Rake from following.
