The drive back to Munich was uneventful and very quiet.
Nolan was driving with Talon in the passenger seat, Kysenia and Daniel in the back. They were holding hands but lost in their own thoughts. Kysenia looking out the side window most of the time.
Meanwhile in the other car, with Rake driving and Brock in the passenger seat with Marc and Aiden in the back the hot topic of conversation was what was now being called the ‘Double –D Love Triangle.’
Aiden wasn’t enjoying the prattling conversation and subsequent bet making on who Kysenia would ultimately end up with, he found it all rather pragmatic…once Daniel had reached his full potential as a Sorcerer there was no one to stop him in whatever he wanted and it was quite clear to Aiden what Daniel wanted.
