Kysenia pulled away from Daniel and gave him a horrified, disappointed look.
“That’s unfair of you.”
Daniel’s eyes were tinged with a little regret as he looked up at the continuing fireworks. “Sorry…I’m feeling a little precious right now…I had hoped he was interested in your blood…”
“My blood?” Kysenia looked startled.
“Yeah, Aiden told me…but I guess it’s all out in the open now…”
“Daniel, if you want me to choose…I’ve already told you, I choose you.”
Daniel looked back at her and smiled. “Thank you.” He leaned in and kissed her.
She eagerly kissed him back, but he wasn’t in a rush. He kissed her slow and languidly, filling every space of her mouth with those long licks of his, leaving her completely breathless for a completely different reason from Daemon.
