The next day Daniel woke up to find Kysenia gone. He was informed that she was having breakfast over at the guest house with Lord Vargr. That soured Daniel’s mood.
He messaged Matt to say he was back. He had had enough of vampires for a while and wanted some regular human interaction.
It wasn’t long before Matt replied, however it seemed he was very keen to come over.
Well, that wasn’t going to be happening…not for the next month at least.
Daniel swayed Matt into meeting at the café they frequented near campus.
Once there the questions started flowing.
“So when can I come over again?” Matt asked energetically.
“Not for a while…”
“Awww, why not?” Matt pouted, Daniel had to look away.
“Kysenia has an important guest staying…”
“So…? I can be discreet.”
Daniel raised an eyebrow and
