Daniel asked Rake to drive him over to High Warlock Brandon’s house.
Rake obliged but gave him a long look in the rear view mirror while at some traffic lights while Daniel messaged Kysenia to inform her.
Her and Aiden were straight back in meetings and busy anyway so he didn’t hear back.
As they pulled up to the house, Brandon came out onto the porch with a broad smile.
“Daniel, you’re back! Can’t wait to get back to training, huh?”
“Yeah, something like that…can we talk inside…?”
Brandon frowned. “Sure…” He backed up, then turned and went inside with Daniel and Rake following.
