I find great peace of mind sitting in the window alcove of the long hall here in our London home where I am seldom disturbed from my studies and my daily prayers. The hustle and bustle of London appears far removed from the house in this quiet, peaceful street and as my parents are frequently out visiting the noble houses in the great metropolis or hunting in the parklands surrounding us; I am left, mercifully to my own devices. Today I have spent some time in the grounds, in the sunlight, for variety sake if nought else although I have enjoyed the cultivated garden, the smell of honeysuckle and the frequent sight of bees buzzing around, alighting on flowers and shrubs and flying off to wherever they go. For the mid -afternoon sojourn here, I have laid aside my Latin books, my prayer book
