Epilogue

My toes squish in the sand. The wind ripples through my yellow sundress. I'm chasing down Brix as the waves rock up my legs, making me stumble. Brix and I fall on the wet sand, my dress now drenched in the seawater. I pull it off and walk in my bikini to the deck chair. I don't care if I have a potbelly or if my thighs are too big and my hips too huge. Really, I don't give a single f**k. I've added some weight but I've been hitting the gym to keep fit. I've been training with Wayne, who keeps saying being fit is not being skinny. It's being healthy. And everyone should exercise to stay healthy. I lie down on the deck, Brix beside me. We are both enjoying this vacation. Seychelles is beautiful. I've always wanted to go on vacation on this scenic beach with the man of my dreams.
