“Can you get the guards to let her leave, can you imagine I found her sitting on your bed, the last thing you need is germs getting all over you,” Hailey spoke in her high-pitched annoying voice.

My eyes darted to Arabella, and the memory of last night flashed through my mind, with the way she stared at me and how I found her. I doubted she remembered what happened. She still thinks she is weak.

“What are you doing Nathan?” Hailey asked from behind as I helped Arabella up, I wrapped an arm around her and placed her on the bed.

I don’t need her getting angry at Hailey and the last person to see Arabella in that form is Hailey, she tells her father everything.

“Nathan.”

“Not another word, get out and wait for me outside.”

“I’m not.” My eyes snapped at her and a growl escaped my lips as I stared at her, that was her cue to leave, she made sure to utter a few curse words before leaving the room.

“She is pissed,” Arabella spoke. “Why am I here Nathan? Why did you bring me to your room? I’m not sleeping with you.” She suddenly added and a smirk appeared on my face

I leaned further in, my hand still on her waist when my lips softly brushed against her ear.

“Only the blessed ones are allowed to see my nakedness and believe me Arabella, if I wanted you to be in my bed that way every night. I can make it happen, and you will consent to it.” I spoke before I brushed my lips again, I felt a jolt of electricity rush through my body, my wolf feeling stronger when I suddenly pulled away

What happened there? I never felt like this, not even last night when I was close to her, and especially when I am near any lady.

“You don’t remember what happened last night do you?” I asked and her eyes filled with confusion, she stared at me like she didn’t even know what happened and I hated the fact that she was not even pretending.

“I fainted.” She said with a hint of uncertainty. “I fainted because of you, out of anger.” She spoke and I hummed

Didn’t she recall what happened? How could she not remember, I have never heard of anything like this, not remembering awakening a power inside of her and I know last night was not the first time.

I didn’t say a word to her, before I left and I found the guard outside.

“Let this be the f*****g last time someone walks into my room without my permission. Do you hear me? I don’t want excuses, I don’t care what you were doing, I certainly don’t want to know, the next time you will be dead.” I threatened.

“Yes, Alpha.” He spoke and I rolled my eyes at him

I found Hailey pacing across the living room.

“You embarrassed me in the presence of some w***e, I am your wife Nathan and you behave like this, is this what is going to happen when we get married, you will be all over some woman and never come to me, I am f*****g beautiful, you would be lucky to have me every night on your bed.” She yelled

“Tone Hailey.” I gritted my teeth

“I don’t want her in your room.” She spoke softly, and I almost rolled my eyes at her words. “I don’t want anyone to come between us, I can overlook what you did, get it all out of your system because when we get married just going to be me and we are going to have a family, our own little world.”

She spoke as if we were in love, which made me realize how manipulative, how horrible she is. I hated part of it ever, my eyes darted to her as she attempted to come close to me and I pulled away from her instantly.

When she tried to touch my face, I held her hand.

“Don’t even think about it, we are not in love and you know where I stand with love, you are just someone I am forced to marry and you know that as much as I do. If my father were still alive, God so help me, I would dissolve this stupid agreement he made when I was born, but I have to honor his words and not make me regret it. When we do get married, you will have your own home,” I mumbled

It will be in the compound, the last thing I wanted is for me to come home to her every single day and hear all about what Gianna did at the tea party, it’s time people start to mind their business, I tried with Hailey, I wanted to give her a chance. If not for love for at least friends, to make this horrible agreement better for us but one date with her was enough to realize I didn’t want to be friends.”

“Why can you bring your hoes to the house, I will kill her if she even thinks of coming close to you, I will make her bleed if I ever find her in your room again and I will make a meal with her blood and serve it to you.”

My eyes snapped at her and I strengthened my hold on her hand.

“Touch Arabella and I swear it will be the last thing you will ever do, even your father will not be able to wage a war for your death, he will be forced to move on and your mom, she will probably kill herself because she can’t live without you and I will still be here, even the mere thought of hurting her dissolve it from your mind Hailey.” I threatened and her yess widened in shock.

She will never come anywhere close to Arabella.
