As we walk toward the house, the lights in the barn flicker off. Mila looks up at the stars, and it makes me smile. “We’ll have to come out really late one night, so you can see the Milky Way. It’ll blow your mind. Sometimes, it’s so bright, it actually lights up the ground.” “Really? That almost seems unbelievable.” She stops and continues to look up. I wrap my arm around her shoulder, and we stand there for a moment, enjoying the view. “I can see about three stars in Atlanta. Have to drive farther out of the city to see more than a handful,” she explains.
