XANDER
"You make me feel things I've never felt before with anyone."
I watch as her lips part and the surprise that's on her face is hard to miss.
It's true, Samantha makes me feel foreign things, at first, it was curiosity as to why she kept watching me, stalking me. She thought I didn't know that she liked me all these years. It wasn't the look other girls gave me, hers was different, weird. I couldn't explain it or how it made me feel.
I don't know why I never wanted to f**k because she is freaking hot. I have no problems f*****g girls and discarding them without a care about their feelings, I would have done it to Sam too but there was just something that made me stay away from her. Maybe I didn't want to hurt her, or deep down I liked her and that sent off red flags in my head. I wasn't here for love, love hurts people, and when you're hurt, it shows you can have a weakness, that's what my grandfather taught me.
The time I beat up that punk from the basketball team, it was because I heard him telling his friend that he wanted to f**k Sam, that she was a hard nut to c***k so maybe drugs would do the trick. That's why I beat him to a pulp. No one ever knew why I beat him, they all still think it was ball beef or over some random chick he was with who ended up sucking my d**k.
"Then let go, let me make you feel."
She searches my eyes. f**k. Those eyes.
"I can't." I step away from her and run my fingers through my hair.
"Why?" The frustration in her voice is hard to miss.
"Because you f*****g touched him still!"
Lies.
Because I'm scared.
"You kissed him." I turn around. "And that's f*****g enough not to want a slut like you."
Pain flashes through her eye, she lifts her hand and slaps me hard across the cheek. She brings her hand to cover her mouth but it's already too late, a whimper escapes from her lips.
She walks past me and runs out of the room. A few minutes later, I see her figure in her room and then the light goes off.
"f**k!" I swipe my hand over the table, knocking off the few things there.
"Sir Xander? Is everything okay?" I hear Velma's voice but ignore her. I grab a t-shirt and open my bedroom door, I walk past her and rush down the steps. Making my way to the back, I climb over the wall and rush to the back, then I pull myself up her bedroom window and enter.
Her body is balled on the bed and I can hear her sniffles. I take off my shoes and climb behind her.
Her body turns rigid and then she quickly gets off the bed.
"Get the f**k out, Xander, I mean it."
I stand and round the bed to where she is.
"Just go away from my life already."
I step closer to her.
"You don't mean that."
"I do," she tucks her hair behind her ear and the sight of her red eyes makes my heart sting. "You don't get to come to me and make me feel like I matter then discard, ignore and insult me afterwards. Don't hurt me anymore."
"Sam.."
"You freaking f**k Jessy and call me a slut because I was hanging out with someone else! Who deserves that name now huh?"
She pushes at my chest.
Fuck. She saw us.
"Yes," she speaks as if reading my mind. "I saw you put your damn mouth on her, Xander! You..." She chocks. "You said it was only me you wanted it with."
"And that hasn't changed."
"Of course it f*****g did. Because it was her and not me." She shakes her head. "You f****d my enemy and I screwed around with yours, we're even now. So just go."
Another tear slides down her cheek and she angrily wipes it away. I walk backwards to the window, my eyes still on her but she's looked away.
"I'm sorry," I whisper and she closes her eyes. Then I jump down the window and go back home.
I get inside my room and look at her now closed window and curtains.
I messed up, big time.

I poke at my food, chatter goes around me but I remain silent. All I can think about is the s**t that went down with Samantha two days ago.
The cafeteria doors open and Aiden walks in holding Sam's hand. I warned him to stay the f**k away from her but he doesn't seem to get it.
He says something and she smiles up at him, then she comes over and says hi to everyone except me, she completely ignores me like I don't exist and that makes my heart sore. When she walks back to the punk, she says something and he pulls her down for a kiss before she walks to where the food is and starts piling it up on her tray. She returns to their table and feeds him a frie, my jaw clenches at the sight. It's like we never even happened, like I never happened.
Aiden doesn't date, he's a s**t like me, the fact that he's trying with some makes me uneasy and very jealous. What if she falls in love with him? Because she sure seems to like him slit, it's different to how she was with Noah, this is more intimate, more personal.
"If looks could kill." Jonathan coughs from the other side of the table. My glare cuts to him and he lifts his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, dude, just saying."
"Shut the f**k up if you want your teeth intact." Brandon says to him and Jonathan shrugs.
I get up and leave the cafeteria, the last thing I hear is her laughter followed by her voice saying that s**t face's name with joy.

"Xander, f**k! You're going to kill him." I hear Lenny shout from behind me. Two sets of hands pull me off him.
His face is bloodied and the corner of his eye is red. Good, get a black eye, s**t face.
"What the hell is going on here?" Sam comes running and places her hands on his cheeks, turning his head from side to side checking his bruised face.
"Oh my god! Aiden, you're hurt." She turns over her shoulder and glares at me. "What is wrong with you?!"
Aiden groans in pain, clutching his side.
I shrug off the guys and go to step forward but Kim stops me with a gentle hand on my upper arm, I look at her and she shakes her head at me.
Don't.
I get it, but she's supposed to be concerned about me, not him.
I stomp away from the scene, get in my car and drive off.

I can't sleep, I can't f*****g sleep. She chose him over me. I'd glady beat the s**t out of him again if given the chance. A knock comes at my door.
"Not now, Velma."
The door opens anyway, I sit up ready to tell her to get out when my eyes meet Samantha's.
"You came." I get off the bed and walk towards her but she raises a hand in the air to stop me.
"No, Xander. I'm just here to talk, nothing more."
"You can talk about anything you want." I say.
I know I sound desperate, because I am and I don't give a s**t about hiding it.
"About what happened today. What you did to Aiden." She continues and my jaw clenches.
She's not here for me but to defend that s**t.
"Xander." She tucks her hands in the back pockets of her jeans and steps away from me. "You can't go around beating people like that, you might be charged with a serious crime, for assault.."
"I don't f*****g care, I'll get myself out of it."
"Yeah," she pushes her lips out. "Because you have the money to do so. What about the other person's life, huh? Aiden had to stay in the hospital for further checkups."
"It's not because I have the money, but because I want to come back to you."
She shakes her head in disbelief.
"Xander, no. I won't be the reason why someone gets badly hurt, you need to not do this again."
"Then why are you okay with me being hurt?"
Her mouth purses in a flat line.
"Xander.." she sighs. "We can't work out and you know it-"
"No.." I step forward and place my hands on her cheeks. "That's not true and you know it." She slides my hands off her cheeks and creates distance between us.
"Even if we wanted to try, i'm with Aiden now. Whatever we have going on still counts as something."
I count down from five to one.
"You need to stop."
"I can't, you drive me f*****g crazy. Can't you see that? I can't stand any other guy putting their hands on you. That's why I beat that s**t friend of his last year when he planned to take advantage of you."
"What?" Her eyes snap to mine.
Shit.
