Chapter 12

After having lunch with my mom and Astrid, the day was pretty uneventful which was pretty nice. Astrid and I sat on the back patio and enjoyed spending some time together outside. She had asked about going swimming and we decided we would do it tomorrow once I was done with work, she decided she would sit in my office with me and read one of the books my mother recommended to her. I thought it was a great idea after what happened today.. truthfully, I didn't want her to go anywhere alone right now. I didn't know if anything else was going to happen and I didn't want to be away from her just in case something did. I wanted to protect her.

After having dinner with everyone later on that evening, Astrid and I headed up to our room to relax there for the rest of the night. Dinner had gone well and I felt like Astrid was adjusting to everyone pretty quickly despite all of the recent chaos since she had arrived. I hoped things would even out soon, Astrid deserved it. she deserved some peace and quiet.

I was currently relaxed on the couch in our room while Astrid showered. I had my eyes closed while I simply listened to the water running. She had so quickly become my world and I couldn't imagine not having her around me.

When the water turned off I opened my eyes then stretched a little while I waited for that beautiful woman to come into the room. Astrid had remembered to grab clothes before going into the bathroom so no chance of me seeing her in just a towel again. Slowly Alex slipped from inside of me, making me miss the fullness almost instantly. He looked down between us and actually blushed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think to pull out.." he sounded embarrassed.

"It's okay, though we both need to clean up now" I giggled and lightly rubbed my foot against his stomach and chest, gaining me another heated look from him before he pulled himself back from his thoughts.

"Well my love, let's go get our first shower together then" he grinned and lifted me up from the bed, bridal style before carrying me off to the bathroom

I am so sorry for the delay on the Chapter! I kept having technical difficulties where it wasn't saving at all even when I was hitting the save button on the drafts so I had to keep re-typing it out! So now I'm making a back up of each chapter when I have to stop or close the app so I shouldn't have issues in the future!
