MAX’S POV
I hadn't managed to see Anaiah after Marcello suggested that I tell her that I would be willing to stay with her, but that was fine with me. I knew that she would find her way to me if I didn't find my way to her. I was so excited to tell her what my decision had been and I hoped that she couldn't give me the same reaction as the one that she had given me the last time I spoke to her and made this same suggestion. I didn’t want her to reject me as she had because I was sure that my heart would be able to take it this time. I was ready to walk away from everything as long as I walked away with Anaiah in my arms.
