Chapter 10

After their conversation, Cirrus asked his brother for help,

"so, now you're here, what are you doing? You're asking for help to make things right with your husband, you know from the very beginning that it was your fault for everything, right Cirrus?" Wim asked his brother

"come on Love, don't be so harsh on your brother, he's still your brother, and the fact that he's asking for your help just means he's really desperate for him and Phukan to make things right, so why don't you just help them" Jin disobeyed his husband,

"why are you siding with my brother huh?" Wim asked

"I'm not siding with him, I can just see that he's having a hard time, look, can't you see that?" Jin replied

"it's his fault, so no one can help him but himself, and you Cirrus, I thought you wanted to make up with Phukan, why are you still here? why don't you want to go to the hotel? I heard that it's Achi's hotel, you know if you just stay here you really won't make up" said Wim

So Cirrus didn't think twice, he immediately left and went to Achi's hotel to pick up Phukan, but when Cirrus got there, he saw Achi and Phukan together again so he approached him,

"Phu?" Cirrus called out to Phu

"what are you doing here?" Phu asked

"I'll leave you two alone--" Achi said

He was about to leave when Phukan suddenly stopped him,

"where are you going Achi? aren't you going to take me to the company?" Phukan asked

"I, I'll take you there Phu" Cirrus volunteered

But Phukan ignored him, he just walked straight while Achi followed him,

Phukan was already in Achi's car and the two of them were traveling in silence when Achi thought of talking to Phukan,

"Phu? What's going on? Why didn't you pay attention to Cirrus earlier? Why did you leave him? Is it okay for you to do that?" Achi asked one after another

"please Achi, don't ask me questions, I'm so tired of reminding myself that everything I do, they all deserve it, because they hurt me, I don't want to get back at them so I avoid them? That's the only way I can think of to make them realize how much I've been hurt by what they did, and that's one of the big mistakes Cirrus made" Phukan replied

"I know that, but he's still your husband, right?" Achi asked

"but he started it, he was the first to say that I should divorce him, no, he's the one who wants me to leave him, I'm just giving him what he wants" Phukan replied

"is it really gone? is there really no hope anymore?" Achi asked, making Phukan stunned

Even Phukan didn't know how to answer his friend's question, 'is it really gone? does he really not love Cirrus anymore?' a question that even Phukan didn't know what the answer was.

But the days passed, and there was no day that Cirrus missed, even though Phukan avoided him, he still found a way to get close to the young man, he talked to him, brought him flowers, food, sometimes he even invited him to eat outside, watch a movie, but Phukan ignored all of this, Phukan ignored Cirrus.

Until one day Cirrus went to Phukan's company and saw Phukan drinking coffee at a cafe inside his company, he was alone so Cirrus didn't hesitate to sit next to him and accompany Phukan,

"Phu, have you eaten yet? What do you want to eat? Shall I buy you something?" he asked him but like before, he still ignored him,

Until a woman suddenly approached the two of them,

"Cir? is that you?" the woman asked

"who are you?" Cirrus asked

"Have you forgotten me? I'm Lukprae, your fiancée" the woman replied

"fiancee? Good job Cirrus, is that what you said you would get back?" Phukan asked politely,

He stood up and left Cirrus with his fiancée,

"What are you doing here?" Cirrus asked

"What are you, Cir? Of course I'm your fiancée, and don't you miss me?" Lukprae asked

"no, and I know you know that I'm married, right Lukprae? and the man you saw with me? That's my husband, that's my husband Lukprae" said Cirrus

"I know, but Cir they said you two are already preparing your divorce papers, so that means there's a chance our marriage will continue" said Lukprae

"sorry but I was planning to save my marriage and I don't plan on getting married to anyone, I love Phu, and that won't change" said Cirrus

And left to follow Phukan.
