CHAPTER 11

Half an hour later Sarah came out of the operating room and was transferred to the VVIP ICU room that Jacob's family requested. A sober Mariana is still crying holding her only daughter's hand in a coma. Edward kissed his daughter's forehead with a sad stare. Tears still flowed from the corner of their eyes witnessing how miserable Sarah was. Andrew sits outside the ICU room accompanied by his family and Sarah's cousins. 

"Excuse me, sir. We from Edinburgh Police would like to meet sarah dimitrova-Jacob's family."

The baritone's voice interrupts the silence created more than 2 hours ago. They stare at the three policemen standing in front of Luke and Andrew.

"Luke Jacob. I'm Sarah's sister," Luke looking tired stands up to a policeman who looks not young.

"I'm Captain J. Crawford who handled Miss Sarah's accident. As we know that this was a single accident and there were no other victims but Miss Sarah."

"Then what happened to Sarah?" Andrew can't wait to hear the very convoluted police explanations surrounding him and Luke.

"According to CCTV footage at some point near the crash site, Miss Sarah was driving at high speed. It is possible that a slippery snowy road caused Miss Sarah's car to get out of control until it hit a bridge."

Captain J. Crawford's explanation left the entire Jacob and McCraven family in the room in shock. Andrew felt his bones pulled forcibly from the body. Imagining how bad the accident was?

"And these are Miss Sarah's belongings left in her car," Captain Jonathan handed over Sarah's belongings received by Andrew. "If you'll excuse us. Hopefully Miss Sarah will recover soon," he continued.

"Rest, Luke, you look so tired. Andrew, you too," Paul approached his son and his best friend's son.

"I'll take you to the mansion, Brother. You're a labourer on a long break here," Anthony approached his Brother and patted Andrew on the shoulder to take them back to The Jacobs mansion in Edinburgh. Harry, Henry and Nick catch up with them to take the two men home.

Not without reason, they understand very well how close Luke is to Sarah. And how much Andrew loves their cousins who have even chosen another man. It wasn't either of them, it was just that the circumstances didn't side with them. 

Eventually Jacob and McCraven's family returned to their respective mansions in Edinburgh. Their family did come from Scotland and thrived in England. So it's no wonder they own a mansion and used to spend time in Edinburgh. 

Andrew lay down on his bedroom bed after cleaning up. Her eyes closed shortly before grabbing a plastic bag containing Sarah's belongings left at the scene. Luke doesn't want to take it and prefers to give it to Andrew. Because he knew that his best friend loved his cousin very much and was able to keep the stuff.

Wallet, lock with panda hanger and a broken screen phone. He stared at the screen of Sarah's phone which appeared to be no longer working.

Is Sarah's phone still working? Her condition looks very bad and is there anything that might be a clue to Sarah's accident. I know enough about Sarah when she's driving, she's not that careless when driving on snowy roads.

Andrew's throat was rounded to activate Sarah's phone which seemed unable to function again. He looks excited when he sees the broken phone screen lit up. Sarah's phone is still active.

Please enter your password...

password? What do you think it says? Andrew tries all the combination of numbers from Sarah's date of birth and both her parents. Everything is wrong and almost makes the phone he is in his grasp blocked.

"My phone password is a winner."

The memory of Sarah who once told Andrew the password of her phone while they were still in love three years ago. Because Sarah's phone is still the same, she guessed about the password sarah used.

Winner? That's a word, not a combination of numbers he should have input to unlock the phone.

Niall is Scottish for winner. Is it possible that Sarah used my date of birth as her phone password?

His mind began to be unclear in interpreting the password with his own imagination. Andrew carefully enters his date of birth to unlock Sarah's phone. The phone was successfully activated after he entered his date of birth. Andrew is quite surprised by Sarah's choice to make her date of birth a password. Soon he examined Sarah's cell phone which looked suspicious to her. His eyes flicked and a scolding came out of his mouth.

"f**k!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!"

Shouts of Andrew's anger were heard throughout the room on the second floor of the McCraven family mansion while in Edinburgh. Instantly the McCravens who were resting in the living room were shocked to hear it. Andrew slams Sarah's mobile phone into her bed and leaves the room regardless of the surroundings. He didn't realize that there was someone else nearby and went into his room. The other person looked at Sarah's phone and was shocked to find what she saw at the time.

Andrew rushed out of the house and drove his car at high speed in the snow. He neglects his family, all he has in mind right now is Sarah. The girl he loved so much, but he let her down when they were away. Along the way Andrew berates himself for being too stupid to ever let Sarah down.

Arriving at the hospital she was only able to cry staring at Sarah who was still lying in the ICU room. Edward and Mariana are still faithfully accompanying their helpless daughter.

It's all my fault and I'm too stupid to trust Sarah with her. f**k!!!

Andrew growls at the unstoppable emotions after what he sees on Sarah's cell phone.

"Sarah..."

The deafening screams awaken Andrew from his long daydream. About her first meeting with Sarah and what she went through five years ago.

"Carol always has no shame," Nick shook his head to hear Carol's screams.

"He always..." Henry's words are cut off when Harry says that Carol is crazy. They all chuckle amused before Anthony finally stops their conversation. Anthony pointed toward the entrance to the hotel ballroom where Grandpa Jacob's wedding anniversary party took place.

They all turned their faces in anthony's direction with his chin. Andrew's eyes were hot filled with emotion and he unknowingly issued a rant.

"f**k!!!" Andrew's clenched hand holds emotions ready to explode.

“f**k it! I should have warned him!" The very voice Andrew knew shocked him, even after he saw the owner of the voice staring intently in the same direction as him.

"Luke???"

"You think I don't know if you're covering this up from us?" luke's hoarse voice stifles his anger.

Andrew stares at Luke, Anthony, Henry, Harry and Nick who seem to hold back emotions just as much as they seem. He still doesn't understand why Sarah's five cousins expressed such an expression? What's more, he never said anything about the contents of Sarah's phone.

"I want to kill him," Nick walks away from Andrew and his brothers. But his move stalled when Luke blocked his hand. Henry simply shook as a ban for Nick to continue his absence. Nick and Anthony are Luke's younger siblings but his emotions are more uncontrollable than the rest of Jacob's family. 

"You have to shake your emotions and yourself, Nick. Remember where we are right now, don't make Grandpa and Grandma sad because of what you're doing," Anthony tries to calm his brother from the anger they've been suppressing for the past 5 years.

"I came to your family's mansion after calming my mind. At first you wanted to knock on your bedroom door, but I undone it when I heard your screams," Luke explains to Andrew, who stares at them in full question..

"Then?"

"You leave the room in a hurry, you don't even see if someone is standing in front of the room. You kept running away from the open door of the room and I saw Sarah's phone lying on your bed."

"Then?" Andrew was still curious and just repeating the question then, then, and then.

"I saw what you saw there, thinking maybe it was the wrong look. But in fact I actually saw what was on Sarah's phone. I'm angry and I want to kill that asshole with my own hands," Luke clenched his fist and clearly anger and hatred emanated from his blue bead. 

"Look at that!" Harry's voice interrupts them all, turning a stare at Edward Jacob who appears to introduce Sarah to the man they hate.

"Should I tell you?" asked Henry to Luke, who answered with a shake of his cousin's head.

"He'll be back to you," Luke pats Andrew's ed up, looking over the embarrassed Sarah at David Schneider. A man who started suffering and inflicted deep trauma on Sarah.

How happy are you to meet him? Turns out you completely erased it from your memory and it looks like he wants to give you back to her. I won't let you feel the same pain a second time. Don't get sick anymore, I can't bear to see you tortured.
