11 days later. Luca’s staring contest with the mysterious pills had become a daily ritual during the course of the last two weeks. It was always the same, with always the same result. He would stand before the bathroom sink, stare at the damned medicine, relive the fight with Charles, briefly regret getting involved, then the pain would kick in.
