Chapter 57: Nothing Broken
Out of all the visitors Luca would receive that day, the single one he was looking forward to the least was presently standing right next to his hospital bed. The swimming team had come by first, wishing a speedy recovery and reassuring Luca that he would be back on his feet in time for the nationals. Some of his colleagues, if not most of them, had also taken the time to comment on the fight itself. Apparently, everyone had seen the videos, and it had amused the lot of them. Even if the recordings were not enough, Gabe had done an excellent job of exaggerating and romanticizing the skirmish. And now that the team was gone, only the coach remained.
