Dudley sighed, saying, “I wasn’t trying to eavesdrop, but you guys were kinda right here and all.
So, I heard most of what you two were saying and… well… You said you wouldn’t make a good farmer, and Kornell seems to think you could help with this oil rig problem. Does that mean you used to do something else before you came here?”
Nodding, Stix replied, “Lawyer, both corporate and human/shifter rights.”
“Huh, interesting. So, why did you come to Sovereignty Island wanting to be a farmer instead of a lawyer?” Dudley asked.
Stix looked up and laughed, “Dudley, do you see any corporations here?”
“No, but if you had told Edmond or Alex what you used to do for a living, they might have had some suggestions.” Dudley stated, sitting back on the couch.
