CHAPTER 4
Edmond and Alex walked up to the castle doors angry and frustrated.
After Georgy had left, Alex had come and told him there was a problem at the oil rig and they were running out of time. Damned if the man wasn’t right. The oil company had drilled the hole for the pipe casing and cement as more and more people showed up on the rig. If Edmond didn’t figure something out soon, those fuckers were going to start drilling for oil and the island could be in danger of major ecological damage if anything were to happen with that rig.
Not only was the risk for oil leakage in their waters, but this also meant that the ecosystem was about to be changed and Edmond didn’t want to think of what that could mean to Sovereignty Island and his people. Something had to be done and quickly.
