Early morning, a piece of shocking news rocked the entire Seleywood.
Frank, the murderer who had taken twelve lives and evaded capture for six years, had finally been caught!
Media reporters flocked to the courthouse, eager to interview this infamous killer.
I was one of them.
"Frank, why did you kill so many people?"
"Frank, can you tell us how you committed these murders? Besides the victims we know about, have you killed anyone else?"
As I navigated through the sea of reporters, I finally broke through to raise my microphone and asked Frank a question.
"Frank, I heard you were caught after attacking Luke Norman. What made you go after him? He isn't married, making him an unusual target for someone like you who usually goes after cheating men and their mistresses!"
As soon as I finished speaking, Frank, who had been indifferent toward the reporters' questions, looked up at me for the first time.
His initial surprise quickly faded into a cold, menacing glare.
The malice in his eyes sent a chill down my spine.
"Luke? I was ready to kill him three years ago, but then I decided against it. Now, of course, I changed my mind, so I proceeded with my plans."
"Why didn't you kill him back then? Was it because he didn't fit your typical target? If that's the case, why did you change your mind?"
I pressed for more answers.
Frank suddenly broke into a weird laugh.
"You might as well ask him yourself."
With that, he turned and left with the police.
"Frank! Frank!"
I shouted after him, but he didn't turn back.
Maybe it was just my imagination, but I thought I noticed a flicker of excitement in his eyes when he suggested I talk to Luke.
It felt like he was looking forward to something...
