It might have not been the best idea she had ever had—if she had any good ideas in her whole life—but this one was a bit far fetched.
Two days after she had seen Liann blush she figured out Liann was doing everything in her power to avoid her. She would either have gotten up way earlier than she usually would and get back later because for the past two days she hadn’t seen her.
And that’s when she had actually set together a plan to get up early as possible. Phase one being completed she stood in the dark downstairs just waiting on her to confront her, while she waited she was staring out the window watching the sun rise and the dark sky brighten up.
All that until she heard Liann’s footsteps descending—then she ambushed her, poorly for that matter.
It wasn’t really a bright idea at that to kiss her on the lips as an ambush but had she was aiming for her cheek—which was a lie she kept telling Liann who had her laying on the floor, one arm on her back as her knee held it in place—Liann’s left hand on her shoulder and her right hand about to twist Ivet’s hand.
“I’m sorry could you stop trying to break my arm!” Ivet shouted lifting her face off the floor trying to glare at Liann over her shoulder.
The hand that was on her shoulder slipped to her head gently before it was brutally pushed back down. “Why did you f*****g did you kiss!” Liann asked again.
“You were ignoring me!”
“So you go around kissing people who ignore you?”
“So you were ignoring me.” Ivet scoffed. Feeling the pain in her wrist of Liann pushing her hand back she hissed. “That f*****g hurts!” a few tears had slipped out her eyes from the pain.
“Then the kiss meant nothing right?”
Her voice was calm for once, a bit panicked but it was way calmer than before—all she needed was for Ivet to answer with a yes then they could move on.
Ivet closed her eyes before speaking, “No it didn’t, it meant everything to me because if you clearly can’t see I like you!” she was a bit frustrated but who could blame her, her hands were in pain—her whole body to be honest—and every organ too.
“Like me?” Liann asked more of a whisper—she sounded afraid and by the looks of her setting Ivet’s right arm free, she was clearly taken by surprise.
“Yes. I have a crush on you!”
And just like that she had fully gotten off Ivet then out the front door. No single word or looking back, not even helping her up.
Still on the floor laying there weak she stared at the door—now she really wanted to cry and not just because she was physical pain.

Liann hadn’t returned yet and it was around ten in the evening already which was a bit too late for Liann to come back, given she was home a lot earlier.
She had been seated on the steps on the stairs slightly dozing off—well until Liann came into view. She was still in the clothes she left in, no sight that she could have been drunk—she just looked tired.
“You know just walking out is kind of rude?” Ivet spoke standing up but still blocking her way. “Or body slamming someone to the floor.” she glared moving to the side Liann tried to pass through.
“Ivet move.”
She shook her head no. Again when Liann went left, she did the same—she wasn’t letting her pass before letting things off her chest. “It’s fine if you don’t like me back—just tell me so I can move on.”
Her version of moving on was crying her feelings away and it also might have meant leaving—she couldn’t really move on if she saw Liann everyday after today.
Liann hissed trying to pushed Ivet out the way. “Get out the way.” she was tired all she wanted was to go to sleep, in peace.
“Do you like me back?” Ivet asked staring Liann in the eyes. She was just staring while Liann glared at her.
“What does it mean to you if I like you back?”
“It means a lot.” mumbled Ivet staring at her feet. Her self proclaimed confidence from before disappeared into thin air.
“Why?” asked Liann, still very much glaring at her and so close to shoving her into the nearest wall.
“Well because someone actually likes me? You know like people are interested in me.” she spoke meeting Liann’s gaze—it had changed from before, one she wasn’t glaring thankfully but she did have on a more approachable expression.
Sighing Ivet turned around going up the stairs. “It’s fine, I’ll just go sleep then tomorrow we can forget it all happened, deal?—Good night.” she hadn’t waited on Liann’s response nor did she turn back to look at her—what was the point, she might have probably been smiling.
If she ever smiled.
Contrary to what Ivet thought Liann wasn’t smiling behind her back—just really confused and tired—that didn’t stop her.
Her arms had slipped their way around Ivet’s waist, her head resting against her back as she sighed,“Just give me time.” she mumbled.
Short after let go of Ivet—then she had disappeared into her room leaving Ivet no time to respond or look at her, just the closing door in front of her.
