Eleven: Impressionable

981 Words
The room had been awfully quiet and it was starting to get on her nerves—wasn’t a lazy day in bed supposed to be—fun? Or at least bring some sort of excitement to the table, a purpose as to why she wasn’t downstairs working— helping the nearest customer or judging Ivet on how she worked. That was the best part But of course not—neither of those had happened and she was surely regretting even agreeing. It wasn’t too late for her to like open up the store, even one customer was better than this silence. Kicking off the bedding covering her body—in a violent and frustrated manner—Liann opened her eyes, the same eyes she had held closed for a total of ten minutes trying to sleep or something. “Ivet stop.” Immediately the girl beside her looked over more than confused. “I’m not doing anything?” she mumbled uncertain, not really sure if she hadn’t done anything—she wasn’t even in proximity of breathing the same air as her. A bit dramatic—maybe too far fetched—but it was best accurate description in Ivet’s mind. “Exactly the point.” Liann groaned. Turning over to her side she faced Ivet, the girl had a crease on her forehead trying her best to at least understand. It did sort of make Liann smile, “—why aren’t you cuddling me, sniffing me or something.” “I thought you wanted to sleep?” asked Ivet still confused, maybe even more confused. Don’t get her wrong she was dying to hold Liann in her arms, just them in the quietness doing nothing at all but with how Liann had suddenly pulled herself out of the makeout session—almost led Ivet to fall off the bed—she assumed Liann wasn’t interested. She did turn around facing the wall the mumbled, “I want to sleep.” then there was nothing more spoken between them. Ivet didn’t pressure her rather sighed before facing the ceiling keeping as much distance just enough for her not to fall off. “Well I can’t now. So let’s cuddle.” Liann whispered—in a shy tone and Ivet knew she definitely was as she avoided her gaze as she reduced the distance between them, placing her arms around her. Ivet didn’t have to be told twice—she alright had her arms around Liann then a little kiss on her forehead. She liked being held by Ivet even if they would argue like a cat and mouse chasing eachother around the room, she had found comfort in her. “So are you my girlfriend now?” Until now she still hadn’t gotten her response, she wanted to push it as far away as possible and just ignore labelling it—but that was hard, she wasn’t just uncertain, she could barely read the signs Liann kept hinting at. It was green one day then red the next—or it was probably mostly blue and she didn’t know what that meant. “What makes you think that.” Liann spoke briefly not detaching her face away from Ivet’s neck—Her breath did tickle her and sent to tingles through out her body or had it been the kisses she hadn’t stopped trailing up and down her neck. If she was aiming at distracting Ivet from the conversation it was working effortlessly. Her body welcomed the sensual affection, her mind was everywhere and hazy disrupting her train of thoughts. It was really more about how gentle, soft and warm her lips felt and how how hand slowly caressed her skin under her shirt. “The kisses, this—the way you make my heart beat fast. I like you.” she managed to speak, her voice a bit shaky. “I could do all that and still be friends with you.” lightly Liann bit on her earlobe then pulled herself away from Ivet. “With benefits?” Liann shook her head in disagreement, “No, just a friend.” Ivet sighed. “Well at least I’m a friend.” she had tried her best to smile but Liann could see right through her and she didn’t feel great playing her. She had been trying to just push her buttons not make her sad. Leaning in she captured her lips on hers prolonging the kiss—a bit more passionate. “Ivet be my girlfriend.” Her eyes literally lit up at those words but Ivet did the opposite, shrugging her shoulders she looked Liann in the eyes. “I thought we are just friends.” she tried sounding cold but that was a successful fail. “Yeah a girl who is a friend, girlfriend.” said Liann trying to hold herself back from laughing right now—Ivet serious face was rather too cute to be taken at all serious. They held a staring contest, possibly being the short ever before Liann cupped her face placing numerous kisses on her face—from her lips to her cheeks and just everywhere. Ivet had been unresponsive the first three kisses until she felt Liann her whole face while tickling her—from a smile to laughing uncontrollably with tears at the edge of her eyes threatening to escape. Her vision blurry, her stomach muscles aching from all the laughing—and loss of breath it was quite painfully sweet. “I would love to be your girlfriend.” she spoke breathless staring at the girl shadowing her. Liann had the most brightest smile on her face hearing those words— pressing her lips on hers she kept smiling. The slow sweet kisses had soon stopped as Ivet had herself shadowing Liann tickling her—revenge had really never sounded so melodious.
