I worked for Monroe undercover, I started working with the elves a long time ago when I met up with the elf twins at a training retreat. My mission was to keep Queen Ruby and Dina, Dominic's son's mate, safe; they were caught up in this mess, and I needed to protect them. I knew they planned to move to my cousins' territory, which was where the capture would take place, I made sure Ruby was safe before I headed out to meet with my cousin Lawrence. I always checked in to let them see I was safe, and I wanted to talk to my dad, I needed his advice on something important. I knew Lear was having a lunch date with Monroe, and I waited in the back room for Monroe to leave, I saw my uncle Orzel run into the bathroom, and followed him. He was vomiting in the toilet, and I rubbed his back, he was sick, but I knew he was a special Omega.
I stayed with him until he was okay, and then we headed back out, Monroe was gone, so I sat down at the table, Lear looked annoyed, but he loved me, I could tell. I had lunch while telling him about my plans before I left, I headed to meet my father, who would be in the office. I knocked on his door before I entered, he was glad to see me and asked Jesse to give us a minute, Jesse nodded and left, patting me on the shoulder and closing the door. He asked, "Why are you here?" I hugged him and said, "I want to talk to you about something before I head back." We sat down, and he looked at me, I said, "I found my mate, but she doesn't know who I am or feels the bond." My dad looked shocked and said, "Congrats, is she wearing jewelry that she doesn't feel the bond?" I said, "No, I think it's more complicated than that, I think she is slowly dying."
Dad was still shocked and said, "We can ask Toffe when he returns to help you figure it out," I nodded and said, "I need to get back, I want to be near her as much as I can, until they are free." I teleported back to the mansion to see Ruby relaxing and reading a book; she looked at me and asked, "How did the visit go in Ironside?" I smiled and said, "It's going great, you will be home in no time," later, Monroe arrived, and I headed to my bedroom, I was off duty, I thought about my mate and hoped I could help her and she would accept me. I was restless and knew I needed to see that she was okay, so I teleported to her bedroom, she was fast asleep, I checked the penthouse to make sure no one was there, I smiled, looking at the beauty sleep and said, "Soon, you will know who I am," and teleported back home.

I was in my husband's restaurant having lunch when Monroe Baker walked in; this was a business meeting, and Ore smiled at me nervously. We have been working through our issues, and he finally let me crown him a few weeks back, I held his hand to my mouth and kissed the back of his hand. He nodded at me to look at the door, and I saw Mr. Baker walked up to the table and shook my hand before he sat down. I introduced him to my husband, who kissed my cheek and left us to conduct business, Ore was a shy guy and always stayed in the background because he was afraid he would ruin my legacy, and I knew that stemmed from his insecurities. I had wine poured, and he wanted to rent a particular building that belonged to my company to open his company, I knew this would be a short lease, so I agreed.
Monroe is a snake, I could tell, I usually sense when someone has good intentions, and he was as evil as they came, Dominic will have a field day with this one for sure. I love my mate, so I could understand the hatred Dominic has for him, because he hid his mate for years and wiped the memory of the people she loved. I knew I would enjoy feeding him to the gator if it was my mate, and he had hidden him from me, our meeting ended, and I saw Ore watching us. Cross walked in and smiled, sitting at the table, and I shook my head, saying, "Your boss just left," he said, "I know, and I am hungry, and you are paying," I smiled because my cousin was a pain in the ass, but he was family. I mind-linked the waiter to get him what he wanted, and he filled me in on what was going down in a few days, I made sure to tell him Ruby and Dina are to be protected at all times.
After Cross left, my lunch was over, and I went up to find Ore, he was outside on the balcony with a wine glass in his hand, I would have been alarmed, but it was sparkling water. I put my hands around him and inhaled his scent, it calmed me, Ore leaned back to my chest, and I whispered, "What is bothering you, my love?" He said, "Nothing, it's just peaceful back here," I felt him block me again and turned him to face me, he blushed because he could never directly look me in the eyes, and I kissed him. I said, "Give me your phone," he sighed and handed it to me, I started to read messages from an unknown number threatening him and calling him a bottom-feeding w***e unfit to be a crown prince. He said, "It's fine, Lear, I have been used to this my whole life," I stopped him and said, "Let's go home."
I wanted to ensure he felt better before I headed out to meet with Aidan and Drax; it was time to bring Queen Ruby home. Once we reached home, he looked at me and said, "I can protect myself," hugging me; I knew the insults were still getting to him, but who cares? We were mated, and he was my consort whether they liked it or not; the coronation was well accepted, and we got plenty of well-wishes. Orzel looked great, and I knew he was happy to have someone who cared for him; I saw his past, and Toffe showed me what secrets he had hidden about the orphanage. I comforted him before we went to bed, I knew he had clung to me since finding out he was with child; it was new territory for us, and Ty monitored the progression with Dr. Marshall. I hugged him close to me as he slept, he had been nesting a lot to make sure our baby was safe, he would be showing soon, and everyone would know his secret, I kissed his cheek before easing out of bed, I had a meeting with Kiko and met him at his apartment. He looked at me and said, "Something was wrong, I was getting dressed to meet with you and I forgot my ring, I felt it, he cheated on me," his hands shook, I helped him place the ring back on his finger and said, "Hey Jones is undecover, he has an explanation for this if it happen, I am sure of it but knowing him, it never did, he loves you, Kiko." I held him as he cried, I hope Jones didn't, but after what happened to me and Ore, looks and these pains can be deceiving.

I came home to my brothers on a bender, they were getting high and f*****g all over the place, I ignored them and went to my room. I looked at the message I received from my mate, and I assured him I would be visiting before the week is out; I heard a knock on the door and said, "Come in, Patricia." She was half-naked, and I could smell my brother all over her when she gave me a beer; I took it and asked, "What do you want, Pat?"
