My mate was asleep when I got a message from Grady asking me to meet him, he worked for Roman, I looked at my sleeping husband who was exhausted after I wore him out. I smiled and dressed quickly because I wanted to be in bed when he woke up, I lost my temper with him again and wanted to kill Grady for messaging me on my private phone. He knew better, and I headed to the bar where he was waiting for me, I saw Prince Lawrence and Rowe at the bar talking with each other and I walked past them heading to Grady's table. Grady looked at me and I stared at him, holding my aura back, not wanting to cause a scene, I asked, "Are you f*****g crazy?" He smiled and said, "I am crazy for you, let's go somewhere private where we could talk," I got up and told him, "Follow me," going into a private room locking the door, and grabbing his throat.

I backed him to the wall and said, "Don't you ever message me on my private phone with your slutty behavior again," he couldn't breathe, but he nodded in understanding. I let him go, and he gasped for air, saying, "Sorry, I missed you, and you have been avoiding me," I turned to look out a window and said, "I am mated, Grady, I love my husband." He walked up behind me kissing my back and said, "You smell like him, did you bring him here after I had made plans for us?" I turned to him and said, "Maybe, if you didn't send the messages you had no right sending, he would be back home." He kissed my lips, I didn't kiss back because I was still angry with him, and he linked me, "I am sorry, but I want your c**k again," then knelt taking my c**k in his mouth, I exhaled letting him make me c*m.

I left the room after telling him, "Never message me on my private phone again and what we had, was over," he didn't like it, but I didn't care; my priority was my mate. I headed back to the elevator when I saw Prince Lawrence on his phone, he got in the elevator with me and I kept my head straight. He asked, "What territory are you representing here?" I looked at him and said, "A big one, but we could do business in the future," he looked at me and asked, "What company?" I said, "Light Corp," he smiled and said, "One of many big powerhouses that power Ravena," I smiled, Lawrence said, "I know Barry Frances Sr., so you must be junior," I smiled and said, "I took over my father's company after learning who he was, and I would like to open a few companies in your territory, please set a meeting up with you father, and we can chat some more," before I got off on my floor.

I knew he was gay and going to be king soon, I could use this to my advantage, but first, I needed to make sure my mate was okay, I screwed up too many times with him. I had ordered dinner, some wine, and roses to show how sorry I was, I got back to the room, and he was still asleep, so I washed Grady off me, his blow jobs were good, but I had better. I lay next to Ore, and he unconsciously rolled over to me and buried his face in my side, I knew his omega wanted to feel the comfort of his Alpha and I smiled, Ore was a precious rare cargo, and he was not ever leaving me. We ended up sleeping through the following morning, but I had accepted the flowers and food, when it came, it was still on the side table, I hugged Ore, pulling him closer to me, and I said, "Good Morning, my love."

We made love and I handed him my card and had a driver take him downtown until the conference was finished, he promised to stay in touch with me and I trusted him. I headed to the conference and many people were already there, I saw Roman's minions and Grady, I smiled and sat at my table reading the brochure. Things went well for the first half, and we broke for lunch, I got a call coming from my husband and left to take it, Grady walked up to me, closing the door while Ore was telling me about the stuff he got and was at a restaurant ready to eat, I felt my zipper and looked at Grady like he had grown two heads and mind-linking, and asking him, "What are you doing?" My breathing picked up and Ore asked, "Hey, is everything okay, baby?" I held in a moan and said, "Yeah, I miss you, hurry back, and I am about to eat," grabbing Grady's head and slowly f****d his mouth.

He was making me break my composure as a nice guy when I said, "Baby, I will see you in a few," ending the call by dropping the phone and moaning, "Fuck." I was going to c*m when we heard gunshots going off, and I knew it was those idiots, Grady got up as I fixed my clothes, took my phone off the ground and we headed out. I swear I was going to kill Axel if he f****d up my progress here, Grady got into doctor mode and started helping out, he was a doctor and I went over to help out with the injured to sell myself to Silas and Lawrence, that I am a friend. Prince Rowe was in a panic because his girlfriend got hurt, and another doctor took over and helped carry the injured to get help, Lawrence looked at me and nodded, I smiled as Rowe went with his girlfriend to the hospital. I left to head back to the resort and as I opened the door, Ore jumped into my arms and said, "I heard about what happened at the conference, are you okay?"

Two Days Later

The conference was halted after what had happened, I was furious but knew it was an assassination attempt on Prince Rowe, and if he had died, it could have started a war between the bears and shifters. My father was upset and asked me to get to the bottom of the attack and report the findings to Ty, he was in Frogger Forest meeting with the Valmores. Kiko was helping me with everything, he was good with context clues, being a detective and all, and was looking at a report looking all sexy with his shield and gun in his waist. He mind-linked me, "What is it, lover boy?" I walked over to him and kissed his lips, he said, "You are distracting me when the king wants the culprits found." Lucus knocked on the door and handed me a file, saying, "You two seem busy, when are you going to have a grand wedding with this one?" Kiko choked as he was drinking a bottle of water looking at me, I smiled and said, "When it is time, you will know, now go back to work, Luke."

Lucas left us and I apologized to Kiko, he smiled and said, "It's fine, Lear, I know what the deal is between us," I pulled him for a kiss before we left for lunch. Two hours Later, I got out of bed getting dressed, Kiko looked at me and said, "This was an amazing lunch," I smiled and said, "I may work late, so don't wait up." Kiko smiled and said, "Well, after having a long lunch, I will be late too, I got a few privileges since I am the Crown Prince's boyfriend." I smiled, kissed his lips, and left the house heading back to the office, on the way there, I thought about Lem and what he had been up to, I hoped he was happy and safe until I found him. I was by the traffic lights when I saw a man in jeans, a T-shirt, and several shopping bags, he was wearing shades and I could have sworn it was Lem. I turned the car around and tried to follow him, I got out and looked around, but he was gone, I ran down to the subway and saw him getting on the train.

I yelled, "Lem," but the door closed before I got there, and he was gone again, I ran back to my car after checking the maps on my phone to see where the train was going. I called Nex and asked him to pull the guest list at the resort immediately, they were two big hotels that way, and if he was there with some rich guy, I needed to find him. I reached my office and my secretary told me, "You have someone waiting in your office, Your Highness," I was shocked because I wasn't expecting anyone. I opened the door and saw Mr. Frances, or should I say, Alpha Barry, looking out the window and saying, "I am sorry, I shouldn't show up unannounced, but I was leaving tomorrow and I want to talk to you about the business before I leave tomorrow." I looked at him and offered him a seat, I usually don't entertain unwanted guests, but I was willing to hear him out, his scent was always familiar to me, but his aura seemed off somehow.

However, we brought up what we mentioned when we first met in the elevator, his father had known my father a long time ago, so we sat and talked about expanding businesses. While in deep conversation, I got a link from my uncle, he sent the lists to my email, I couldn't wait to go over them when Barry and I shook hands as he promised to send a representative to flush out the details of future business. He looked into my eyes and smiled, I smiled back and said, "I am taken," he leaned on the doorframe and said, "I am married," showing his ring. His coat hid his mark, so I didn't get a good look at it, and he said, "Maybe if it was a different time," he was attractive and lured you in, he walked out, and I sat at my desk on the laptop hoping for a lead. I went over the list many times and there was no one named Lem on it, I wished I had gotten his full name because it was making everything difficult, and I closed the laptop defeated.
