Chapter 14 1844 The house in Guilford was a large one on a prominent street in one of the wealthiest areas of Baltimore, and disembarking from the carriage, Ginny took a moment to look up at it, letting out her captive breath slowly. “It’s quite remarkable, isn’t it?” Isaac asked, standing near her elbow. “It is,” she agreed. It was three stories tall with a large front porch and several windows that looked out onto the street. It was made of brick, and while it certainly wasn’t a row house, there was not much of a garden on either side of the structure.
