She was peering over her sharp little nose at the paper, biting her bottom lip, her green eyes glowing with anxiousness. With a small grin and the shake of his head, he finished the letter, signed it, and before meeting her eyes again, he said, “It’s been a pleasure to see you again, Scarlet.” “You as well, Father Puckett,” she smiled.
