The Gazette was not difficult to find, though it had taken a while to get there by carriage from Otterbein, and when Spencer and Scarlet arrived just before the appointed meeting time, they were relieved to see Hazel standing just a few doors down waiting for them.
Spencer had filled Scarlet in on everything the night before, and she had been thankful to hear that Ginny did not sound too much farther gone than she had when she’d seen her last. He had explained that Hazel had offered to help and that she had been doing some research with Mr. Williams in an attempt to procure evidence of his marriage to Ginny. Scarlet had insisted on going along so that she could hear all of the information first hand.
