Trina POV

I woke up early and did my morning routine . Then I walked down the hall to Xavier's room to wake him up for a bath and breakfast. " Xavier  sweetheart it's time to get up we are going on our trip today" I said while gently shaking him awake. He rubs his eyes as he sits up and as if his mind finally registers what he just heard he jumped out of bed and sprinted to the bathroom to get ready. While he was getting ready in walked down the all and down three flights of stairs into the kitchen to make breakfast for xavier my father and I as we would be leaving soon and we were the only ones awake at this 5 in the morning on a weekend .

I throw on a pot of coffee and get out  bacon eggs hashbrowns and bread for xavier and my dad and croissants for myself . I start cooking the bacon as I throw the hashbrowns into the oven.  Then I scramble eggs in a pan with a little of the bacon grease to add flavor and keep them from sticking to the pan . I throw the bread in the toaster and slice the croissants and when the eggs are almost done cooking I throw on a little shredded Monterey jack cheese and mix it in . By the time I am done cooking xavier and my dad are walking into the kitchen all clean and fresh and dressed in nice clothes for our trip today.

"Trina have you packed a bag for you and Xavier for the night, you know we wont be coming home until tomorrow right ?" My father asked me . "Yes dad I packed a change of clothes for tomorrow and extra clothes just incase. I also packed Xavier's tablet so he has something to entertain himself on the trip" I say as I start plating up our breakfast.  

"Alright just be sure to double check that you have everything you may need after breakfast" my dad says as if I would forget anything important and i just roll my eyes at him for acting like I'm a forgetful child.

After breakfast I went upstairs to my room to make sure I didnt "forget" anything before we left . Once I checked my room and Xavier's to see if I missed anything i grabbed our bags and brought them down to put them in the trunk of the black SUV we will be riding in for the 6 hour drive.

"All ready to go?" My father asks me as I'm closing the trunk of the car. "As ready as I will ever be" I say with a smile because I'm slightly nervous and excited to meet the man who will be my mate.

"Are you ready to go Xavier? " I ask as I watch him straighten his booster seat onto the back seat of the SUV.  "Just about mommy I need to get this seat just right" he says still trying to get the booster seat on straight. This child and his OCD. Everything always has to be absolutely perfect . He may be my son but we are so different. He is organized and I'm messy but that's how I like it.

I helped him finish adjusting his seat so it was perfect and I got him buckled in and set up with his tablet and game of temple run and we hit the road. "Its going to be a long drive and you still look tired sweetheart why don't you take a nap and I'll wake you when we get there " my father said as I was already drifting off to sleep.

It was a long day so my bestfriend alexandra and I decided that we would go out and celebrate my 21 birthday early as I had alpha training all week and wouldnt have time to celebrate on my birthday. "Where are we going out tonight?" I ask really curious as to where she is taking me.

"I told you we are going out to that new club that Tucker opened up in his territory last week I have been dying to check it out " Alex says enthusiastically.  I really wanted to check it out too but i wouldnt tell my brother that because i didnt want him to know i was secretly proud of the successful man he has become . In the past year Tucker has opened a dozen restaurants and clubs throughout  his territory and they have all been very successful.  I am proud to call him my twin. "Do we really have to go there you know I hate going to my brothers territory?" I ask so I seem like I'm not excited.

"Yes we are going there because I know deep down you really want to check it out and I know you just act like your not proud of your twins success." Alex states because she knows how my mind works and she knows I'm proud of all my siblings. I guess you truly know what a person is thinking when you have known them your whole life.

"Fine but you better not tell my siblings that I am proud of them you know I have a reputation to keep with them" i state with a wink.

"Ugh you ten and your damn stubbornness all of you are the same all proud of each other and none of you want to admit it to each other" she sighs. "Yup" I say popping the p, "just like my father and your father. But dont forget once i am alpha you will be my beta because we are best friends just like they are." I say coolly.

"Yea I just hope we find our mates before we take over the pack" she says sadly because neither of us have found our mates yet when most find them at 16 years old.

"Don't you worry about a thing we  will find them before we take over I promise you that" I say with pride I just know we will find them soon.

We started getting ready I was Alex's hair as she was thinking about what to wear out tonight to the club.

"Why dont we wear those matching blue dresses we got last week they fit snuggly in all the right places" I say knowing we will have guys falling for us as soon as we walk though the door if we do. The dresses are glittering blue spaghetti straps with slits up the right leg that stops at the thigh.

"Oooo yes and we can wear the black glittery heels with them to make us look taller since we are both short as hell" she states the obvious.

"We are not short we are fun sized!!!" I exclaim and we both burst out laughing. I finish braiding her hair and start working on my make up while she starts brushing out my curls so she can straighten my hair with the flat iron. I wear a little mascara and some eye liner and do a smokey eye with brown shimmering eye shadow to make my multicolored eyes pop.

"Have I ever told you how much I wish I had your eyes " she asks me as she looks at me in the mirror from behind me .

"Yes only every day for our entire lives" I say rolling my eyes.

"Well I can't help it they are beautiful I wish I has all those colors swirling around in my eyes. I guess it's because you are the elemental wolf and I'm not" she sighs. I never really questioned where my eye color came from but she could be right though.

We finished getting ready and walked out of my room to go to my brothers club. We were stopped by our fathers on our way down the stairs. "And where do you two think you are going at this time of night?" My fathers beta Tony  asks us.

"We are going to Tucker's territory to celebrate Trina's birthday early since we wont be able to do it on her birthday because of our training dad" Alex states like it's the most obvious thing in the world. Tony eyes us like we are going out to cause trouble and then says "alright call me when you get there and dont drink too much or stay out too late Tucker said there were a few rouges around his territory and I dont want you two getting hurt"

"Yes daddy we will be back later. I love you." Alex says giving her father a kiss on the cheek. I never realized until now how much they look alike both with brown hair and brown eyes plump pink lips and perfectly round faces and both of them have a slight point on the top of their right ear. Now that I think about it Alex looks almost nothing like her mother other than her perfect hourglass figure. "Trina make sure you two stay out of trouble tonight" my father says coldly because he hates when I go out to drink because I always come back super drunk.

"Yes father as you wish I will be on my best behavior" I say rolling my eyes and he glares at me and shakes his head.

"Just go and have fun and be home at a decent hour" he says as I start heading to the door.

"OK!!" I shout already half way to the door.

We walk out and head to my baby blue Lamborghini and head off on the 15 minute drive to my brothers club to have some fun.

We arrive at the club and I notice my brother posted some big muscular wolf outside the door as the bouncer checking ID cards to make sure no one is under age. We walk up to the door and they bouncer bows his head to us in respect "good evening alpha Trina, beta alex" we now back in respect. "Good evening delta Blake how are you today? Is my brother inside so we can celebrate our birthday together?" I ask. "Yes alpha he is waiting for you in the VIP section at the top of the stairs to the right. Oh and happy early birthday to you alpha" Blake says with a smile. "Thank you Blake we will see you later" I say as Alex and I head into the club.

As soon as we walk in the door Alex gets tense." Hey what's up with you " I ask as she starts sniffing the air. "Cant you smell that?" She asks. "Smell what the b.o and booze?" I ask with a raised brow.

"No it smells so delicious like chocolate covered strawberries" she says as she continues sniffing walking further into the club up to the bar where a blonde haired blue eyed god is bartending. I watch as Alex stops misstep just staring at the guy. When he turns to look in our direction his eyes grew darker and he jumped over the bar and started walking in our direction. He stopped a few steps away as he and Alex continued to stare at each other . "Mate!" They said in unison and embraced each other. I stood their waiting uncomfortably watching them waiting for them to come out of their trance.

Finally I cleared my throat and they broke apart both looking down in shame. "Sorry alpha my name is Derrick" the bar tender says to me.

"Oh no need to apologize Derrick it seems you are my bestfriend and future betas mate so you will be my  new friend and you dont have to apologize to me for embracing your mate. By the way this is Alex why dont you two go get to know each other while I go find my brother and get a drink" I say to them and their faces lit up and they ran off. "I better tell Tucker he needs a new bartender for tonight" I say to myself as I head to the VIP section.

I walk up the stairs and look around there is about seven booths with wood backs and seats with padding and red leather coverings on them. All I can think is that it looks like a typical vip section but that's just my opinion  all the tables are hand carved out of solid hard maple wood and polished so they shine in the light and have candle holders with tea lights all lit in them . I see my brother in one of the booths with his mate molly and I walk over. "Happy early birthday my dear twin brother" I sing to him as he stands up to give me a hug. "Happy birthday baby sister" he says and i punch him playfully in the arm "Baby sister? I'm 2 minutes younger than you Tucker shut up" I say . Molly giggles at our silliness.  "Oh Tuck I think I should let you know you need a bartender it seems Derrick is Alex's mate and I told them to run off and get to know each other" I say to him not sure if Derrick  informed him yet or not.

"Well I guess your pack will be getting a new member Derrick was a rouge I was recruiting because he lost his entire pack so I thought it was unfair that he stayed a rogue but I'm glad they found each other and that means one more mouth for you to feed and more food for me at my pack." He says and I glare at him for being a butthead.

"What happened to his pack?" I ask

"They were attacked by rouges him and his younger sister were the only survivors. It's funny though that he is mated to your beta because his sister is mated to mine." He says and I start laughing because it is a really funny twist.

"Well we both have our beta pairs now I just have to find my mate and I wont feel left out " I say sadly because now I definitely feel left out even my younger siblings found their mates I'm the only one that wants their mate that hasn't found him yet . "Don't worry Trina you will find your mate when the time is right" molly says while laying her head on one of my shoulders and wrapping her arm around the other to make me feel better. "I'm starting to think it will never be the right time for the moon goddess to let me meet my mate" I state as I start to feel the loneliness and depression take over so I order myself a couple monster red bulls to start the night.

"You have to be patient little sister the moon goddess works in mysterious ways" Tucker says as he try's to take my fourth drink in 10 minutes from me.

"Yea well she could work a little faster I'm about to turn 21 and my younger siblings have already found their mates. Tj is the only other one who hasnt found his mate and he doesnt care but I do. I want to feel loved and i want to be held at night. I want to feel safe for once in my stupid life." I cry as I down my sixth drink. "You are loved and you are safe you have nine siblings that love you and we would never let anything happen to you. How do you not feel safe you are an elemental wolf, you are basically the strongest creature on the planet. Nothing could hurt you." Tucker states trying to make me feel better.

"You and I both know that the love of a family member is nothing compared to the love a mate can give you and all of our siblings left me you all have your own mates and packs to worry about. I need someone to worry with me and about me and my pack" I say getting really depressed.

"You will find him soon sister I promise you that. I think you have had enough to drink though you are clearly drunk. Do you want me to go get Alex and have her bring you home?" He asks as he can see that I'm swaying back and forth while sitting in the booth.

"No let her enjoy her time with her mate. I will walk home or call a cab I dont want you to stop enjoying your time out either so dont ask if you can drive me home" I say and he nods knowing my word is final.

"I will see you later Tuck have fun tonight you too molly" I say as I give them each a hug goodnight.

Before I walked out of the club I walked up to the bar and got another couple bottles of vodka to drink on the way home and told them to put it on Tucker's tab.

I walk out of the club and open the first bottle and start chugging it as I walk towards home lost deep in depressing thoughts of how I wished I would find my mate already.

I was so drunk and  deep in thought  I didnt notice that I was being followed. 'Dont worry Trina the moon goddess will bring us our mate' my wolf trixie said

'I'm really starting to think we dont have a mate' I replied before I cut her off. Shes always so optimistic about everything.

I continued walking and then I heard running and then felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and everything went black.

I woke up blindfolded tied to something with silver chains on my wrists and ankles causing them to burn . "Well well look what we have hear the legendary elemental wolf" I hear the deep male voice say.

"Where am I? Who are you? What do you want with me?" I ask truly scared because I cant see anything.

"Who I am and where you are not important. How ever what I want with you is." The male said menacingly

"What do you want with me than?" I ask as I start to tremble.

"I am going to make you bare my pup. That way I will know my bloodline will live on and be stronger than ever" he said with an evil laugh

"No I will never bare your pup I will get out of here before you get a chance to even touch me" I say as I start to cry.

I heard him step closer to what I am assuming was the bed that I was chained to and he leaned down to whisper in my ear. "That is what you think my dear you will bear my pup". With that I felt a needle go into my neck and I began to lose conciousness.

         I woke up to being shaken awake and I realized I was in the car with my father and Xavier.  My  father was eyeing me worriedly. "Are you alright sweetheart you were trembling and screaming in your sleep?" He asked me voice full of concern.

"I'm fine,just a nightmare I guess" I mumbled the last part hoping he wouldnt hear me but he did.

"Was it about that night again?" He asks and I just nod not wanting to talk about it. "Dont worry I will make sure you are always safe from now on even if it kills me" he says and I sigh.

"Are we almost there?"I ask wanting this trip to be done with while I was searching through my purse for my medication.

"About an hour left to go.what did you forget to grab before we left the house?" My dad asks

"What makes you think I forgot to grab something?" I ask back

"Because you are rummaging through your bag like your life depends on it" he retorts

I sigh and slam myself back against the seat because I forgot to grab my pills to help with my PTSD but I dont want to tell my dad because he will say 'I told you to make sure you had everything' and I dont want to hear it.

He coughed to bring my attention back to him and i mumble under my breath."I forgot to grab my pills". Low enough hoping he wouldnt hear me but he did.

"We will have the white water pack doctor give you something when we get there but next time when I say make sure you have everything I expect you to do it" he said trying not to sound annoyed but I knew he was .

I really hope demetri will really accept me with my past.
