"Trina dad said to get you butt to the office in 30 minutes or he will stay alpha for another 10 years weather you find your mate or not" my eldest brother TJ alpha of the black river pack shouted as he pounded on my door. TJ has not found his mate nor does he want to he says protecting his pack and running his mult-billion dollar company is more important than finding his mate. STUPID.

       "Ugh can't i sleep in just one day" I groan before getting out of bed heading to my adjoining bathroom. "Just hurry up no one wants to hear dad complain about his strongest child being late AGAIN" TJ shouts as he walks away from my door. I hurried and did my mourning routine and got dressed before going to wake up my pride and joy for breakfast

                yes i am unmated with a three year old pup. it happened when i was 20 years old. i went out to have a few drinks with some of the other pack members . i had a few to many to drink so i decided against driving and walked home alone from the club . i ended up getting attacked and sexually assaulted by a rouge and ended up pregnant. My family tired to convince me to give the pup up for adoption or terminate the pregnancy . i refused saying the pup should not be punished for a crime it did not commit. i would not let my pup be killed or suffer for something he had no control over. 

            i walked into my precious Xavier's room and wake him for the day. "Xavier sweetheart its time to get up " i cooed. He sits up and rubs hes eyes as he whines at me "mommy why do i have to wake up? You are the one that has a meeting not me ". "because sweetie you will be alpha someday and you might as well get used to getting up early too" i explain."besides its Sunday and that means strawberry cheesecake pancakes for breakfast" i yell excitedly and that is  all it took for him to be wide awake dressed and running out the door of his room. i laughed as i followed the little blonde haired grey eyed monster out and he skipped every other step on the way down the stairs as he excitedly ran to the dinning room where he sat at the table large enough to seat 60 pack members .

    i grab Xavier a plate and fill it with his favorite pancakes for breakfast and set it in front of him as he starts to eat and i ask Stephanie the head omega nanny to keep any eye on him until after the meeting . " yes Alpha Trina" she replies while bowing in respect.

        i grab myself a plate and fill it with pancakes and head to the office. i knock on the door because i am not alpha yet and i cant just walk in. "come in" i hear my fathers annoyed tone. i opened the door and there he is 7'2  tan skin salt and pepper hair and the angriest blue eyes you ever saw glaring at me . "well well well look who finally decided to join us" my father snarled. i looked around the room and noticed that only my father and two of my brothers were in the meeting today which made me curious but i shrugged it off . " sorry i had to make sure Xavier was fed and taken care of before i came" i said as i rolled my eyes at him.

    "if you are going to be alpha of this pack you need to be on time for every meeting. set you damn alarm next time " he explained calmly because i was taking care of his grandson and everyone know alpha Tyson has a soft spot for pups . why else would he have 10 of them.

    "yes sir i wont be late again i will set my alarm early next week" i say with a little attitude which he gives me his famous death glare and then sighs because he knows there is no use arguing with me .

    "anyway" my older brother Tucker Alpha of Blue Blood pack says trying to break the tension in the room.

 "YES! down to business TJ report" my father says 

"well as you all know our packs make up the largest pack in the world and our territory takes up most of the state" we all nod knowing this is true. and he continues

" well i have spoke with Sam, Lindsey, Jasmine, Becca and Rose and they couldn't make it to the meeting this morning because that has been an increased number or rouges vampires and witches in the territories" TJ explains which makes me worry for my sisters safety.

    " well have there been any attacks ? have they captured any of them ?" i question.

TJ shakes his head no" i advised them to increase patrols and if one of them steps foot into their territories they are to capture and interrogate them" he replies

" if a rouge witch or vampire is hostile don't you think it would be wise to increase training in the pack warriors?" i ask

    "true but we don't know if they are hostile. that's why they are to capture them to find out ." my father explains calmer than usual considering the situation . 

" so what do WE do?" i ask while wondering why my dad is so calm

' this is odd seeing him so calm like this ' my wolf Trixie says in my head

'That it is . I have a feeling i am not going to like what he has to say.' i reply to her

' same here' she says before cutting off the link and retreating to the back of my mind.

                        My father clears his throat and looks at me "Trina you know i love you and you know you are my strongest child" he says and i nod staring at him wondering what he is going to say next 

    "But i worry about yours and Xaviers safety and i am getting too old to run a pack of this size so i have spoken with alpha Anton of the white water pack and he suggested that we have an arranged mating with his youngest son Ashton who also has not found his fated mate" he says and i couldn't even respond because the world began to spin and turn black the last thing i remember is hearing my brothers yell my name and being caught by strong arms .
