Caleb turned his head, feeling eyes boring into the back of his head. Since being injected with the nanomachines his perception had heightened. He could pick up on what the people around him were doing and even thinking without having to look at them.   He glanced over his shoulder to see a young woman—she had to be about his age, wearing a tracksuit and beanie hat. If she was a private detective, her disguise was ridiculously effective. When she noticed he had stopped and was looking back at her, she pulled out her phone and started fiddling with it, slowing her pace and trying to look inconspicuous.   ‘What do you want?’ Caleb wondered.   “She’s just an admirer,” the voice whispered. “Believe it or not, some girls dig the delinquent vibe.”   ‘What a weirdo,’ Caleb scoffed to him
