The cry of the weak

Chapter 1 In the heart of the seventeenth century, in a world where the werewolves dwell on earth and rules. There is a king and his brother named Oliver. During the reign of king Liam it was peaceful, he was respected and loved by the people in the entire kingdom. He loved his people and he respects them so much. Oliver on the other hand wasn't loved by anyone in the kingdom except his loyal servants, the feared him greatly and the people tries their best not to get on his bad side. He was so jealous of his brother because he felt his brother existence was a threat to him not being noticed in the entire kingdom. King Liam was sitted with his wife and children dinning and enjoying their sumptuous meal when Oliver walked in and said " your highness, lol what a great way of relieving yourself from the stress you've being through". Do you mind if I join you and let's have this sumptuous meal together with an envious look on his face One fateful morning, King Liam received a letter from his friend in the neighbouring kingdom, " Hi dear friend, it's been a long time, I want you to embark on a journey to my kingdom we have some important and very secretive discussion and I would love it if you could come alone without any guards." King Liam felt chills down his spine, he could sense that something was wrong but he would not turn his friend down just because of an instinct, he said to himself. King Liam starts making plans to embark on the journey, though his friend kingdom is a neighboring kingdom,it was gonna take him days to get to his friends kingdom. King Liam called his wife and his children to inform them about the mysterious journey he was to embark on, before he could give full details his wife replied " your highness please don't embark on this journey, something does not feels right". King Liam assured his wife that it was nothing and he would be back safely. In the other part of the kingdom.......... Oliver was filled with joy and was laughing hysterically when the news got to him about the journey his brother was to embark on, he had this joyous looks on his face. So all the villages where so surprise after seeing Oliver being happy about his brothers traveling because they are all aware he never wished him well not even for once , so in 5 markets day is when Liam is going to go for the invitation from next nearby village , there comes the day Liam wakes up very early in the morning around 5am he is preparing for his invited journey. Then Oliver walks in Liam room and takes the care as if he really care for Liam then he ask what route are you passing exactly then Liam replied with , how does that has to do with you , Oliver is trying to be sure if the route where Oliver is going to pass just for him to hurt him before getting to the next village for the so called invitation , but Oliver refuse to tell him the route he’s going to pass because he’s also aware his junior brother never wished him well. But you know Oliver does not give up so quick so he keep mute till King Liam exit the palace to the next village for the so called meeting, he packed his bag and embarked on the journey not knowing what was in store for him, all he had in his mind is that he’s going to the next village for a meeting, whenever he is traveling he travels with his guards. On his way to the next village , Liam did not use to walk alone he walks with his staff but this particular day he ask them not to follow him that he’s going to go alone for some purpose . But never said anything about the reason why he was going alone, one of the guard was curious and followed him secretly without King Liam being aware.So on his way to the next village Liam had been walking for the past few hours so he got to a point whereby he happens to be so tired then he decided to take a little bit of rest before proceeding with his journey not knowing , something bad his about to happen to him. So Liam sat down nearby the river side placing his leg inside the river suddenly he heard some footsteps , so he decided to turn back and check what’s coming after him but he did not see anything , so he faced his front back and continue with his rest suddenly a sudden hit , cracks on Liam head , he was hit with a very big stone on his head Liam was unconscious and was pushed down the river. On the other side of the river there is a woman name nimonje, she was a widow and she was chased out of her village because they claimed she killed her husband. She went to the stream to fetch water when she noticed a floating body in the stream, she moved closer and saw it was a man lying lifeless at first she screamed but remembered she is the only one in the forest, she summoned her courage pulled him out of the water and take him to her cottage.Days after King Liam finally wakes up from his sleep, Nimonje was so happy because she thought he was gonna put her in trouble again, the happiness lasted for a while when she asked King Liam who he was and he could not say anything.On the other hand, the whole kingdom was worried about King Liam, the only person who can shed light to the whole incident was attacked alongside King Liam once he was noticed by the killer. The whole kingdom was in murmur since the king is yet to return from his journey, this left his wife no other choice than to write to his husband's friend "your highness, your friend King Liam embarked on a journey to your kingdom and he is yet to return and we've not heard anything from him for days".
