43. Perin - The Hearing

                Perin was sweating nervously in his black polyester suit. Lance had brought it round to the house for him to wear to his court appearance, but it was a little too tight and the material didn’t breathe.  He had no idea whose suit this was, but Perin would have to buy himself another one for his next court hearing; this was unbearable!                 He was sitting on an uncomfortable plastic chair in a stuffy little waiting room, listening for his name to be called so that he could go into the courtroom for his magistrates hearing. He had been briefed by his lawyer on what to do; say his name, address, date of birth (adjusted to the same as on his identity documents, of course!) and to enter his plea, which was guilty.
