**Title: "Tangled Hearts"**

**Episode 1: The Last Kiss**

Hannah sat at the kitchen table, her fingers absently tracing the rim of her coffee cup. The morning light filtered through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the room. It should’ve been a peaceful morning, but the silence felt heavier than ever. Her husband, Ryan, stood across the room, packing his bag for work. It was the same routine they had followed for years, but this time, it felt different. This time, it felt like they were both avoiding something unspoken. Something that had been slowly creeping between them for months.

“Hannah?” Ryan’s voice broke the silence.

She looked up, blinking as if coming out of a trance. “Yeah?”

“Can we talk tonight?” he asked, his voice low, almost hesitant.

Hannah’s heart skipped a beat. She had been waiting for this moment, yet she wasn’t sure she was ready to hear what was coming. The words "Can we talk?" had never been so loaded, so heavy.

“Sure,” she said, trying to sound casual, though her stomach twisted into knots.

Ryan gave her a quick, almost absent smile before grabbing his keys and heading for the door. As he walked past her, he paused for a second. Without saying a word, he bent down and kissed her cheek. A kiss that felt more like a goodbye than an expression of affection.

And then he was gone.

**Episode 2: The Unraveling**

That evening, after dinner, they sat on opposite ends of the couch, both staring at their phones, avoiding eye contact. Ryan had been distant for weeks, and Hannah had tried everything she could to bridge the gap. She had tried to be the wife he once loved, the one who laughed at his jokes, who planned spontaneous weekends, who could still see the spark in his eyes. But lately, the connection between them had dulled, and it seemed like they were both clinging to a version of their relationship that no longer existed.

Ryan finally put his phone down and sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I think we need to talk about what’s been happening.”

Hannah swallowed, bracing herself. “I know.”

“I can’t keep pretending that everything’s fine,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t know how we got here, but we’re not the same people we used to be.”

A lump formed in Hannah’s throat. She had known this conversation was coming, but hearing the words spoken aloud made the reality hit harder than she had anticipated.

“I feel it too,” she murmured, her voice shaky. “I feel like we’ve been drifting apart for so long, but I don’t know how to fix it. I don’t even know if I can fix it.”

Ryan’s eyes flickered with something like regret, but it was quickly replaced by exhaustion. “I don’t think either of us can fix it anymore. Not the way it was.”

Hannah felt a sharp pain in her chest. “So, what? Is this it?”

“I don’t want it to be,” Ryan said quickly. “But I’m not sure we have any other choice. Maybe... maybe we need some space. Time to figure out who we are, what we want. But I don’t think we can keep pretending to be happy in a marriage that feels broken.”

His words stung more than she expected. The man she had loved for so long, the man who had promised to be with her through thick and thin, was telling her that their love wasn’t enough anymore.

“Are you saying you want a divorce?” she whispered, her voice breaking.

Ryan’s eyes darted away, unable to meet hers. “I don’t know what I want anymore. But... maybe it’s the only way forward.”

The silence between them grew heavy, suffocating. It felt like the world had stopped turning, leaving them suspended in a moment of grief, uncertainty, and heartbreak.

**Episode 3: In the Aftermath**

The days following that conversation felt like a blur. Hannah had moved into the spare bedroom, though she hadn’t packed her things yet. She couldn’t bring herself to do it. Each day was a painful reminder of the life they had built together and the slow, inevitable destruction of it. They still spoke, but it was brief, detached, like two strangers who had once shared a life and now couldn’t find a way back to it.

One afternoon, as she sat at the kitchen table sipping her coffee, Hannah’s phone rang. She glanced at the screen, surprised to see her best friend, Lily, calling.

“Hey,” she said, trying to sound normal, though her voice trembled.

“Hannah, what’s going on with you and Ryan?” Lily asked, her voice full of concern. “I’ve never seen you like this before. You’re not answering my calls, and I—”

“We’re getting a divorce,” Hannah said bluntly, cutting her friend off. The words felt foreign, even as they escaped her lips. “We’ve been talking about it for weeks. I think it’s finally happening.”

There was a long pause on the other end. “Oh, Han... I’m so sorry. I had no idea it was this bad. Is there anything I can do?”

Hannah wiped a tear from her cheek, not bothering to hide it. “I don’t even know what to do anymore, Lily. I don’t know if I can do this.”

Lily’s voice softened. “You don’t have to
