Jennifer’s POV
If I were to sum up my delivery experience in one word, it would be unforgettable.
After Rachel broke the news, within ten minutes, I found myself whisked away to the delivery room, all thanks to Tom’s speedy driving. It felt like he was trying to make the car take flight.
When the car finally screeched to a halt, Rachel opened the door for me, while Joseph leaned out of the window to vomit.
“Poor Joseph! Are you sure you’re not pregnant too?” Rachel teased her brother.
“Shut up,” Joseph weakly retorted. He then turned to the driver and said, “Great driving, Tom. You made me see stars in broad daylight.”
“You’re welcome, Doctor,” Tom chuckled, tipping his hat to Joseph as he watched us depart. “Good luck, Lady Jennifer!”
