False marriage with the alpha

Ashley pov I never thought I would end up in a false marriage with the alpha of silver moon pack. but here I am, Standing in front of the altar, dressed In a long white wedding dress staring into the the piercing blue eyes of the man I'm supposed to marry. is name is Asher,and the most powerful alpha in the country. he is also the most handsome man I have ever seen, but despite his good looks, I can't help but feel a sense of dread stop I know that this marriage is only for a show. Asher and I did not love each other we were only getting married because our packs have made a deal. our packs have been enemies for generations. but recently, there has been a raise inn attack from rogue wolves on order to protect our packs, our leaders have decided to form an alliance and the best way to do that is through marriage. I know i’m a just a pawn in this game, but I'm determined to make the best of it I will do whatever it take to protect my packs, even if it means marrying the man I don't love. the priest big is the same money, & I forced myself to focus on the word he is saying. I try to ignore the way Asher’s eyes were burning into me, when it was time to exchange vows, Asher takes my hand in his I can feel the power coursing through his veins “ I Asher, the alpha of silver moon pack ,take u Ashley to be my wife”, he says his voice deep and commanding. “ I promise to love you, cherish you and protect you for the rest of my life ” I repeated his vows, my heart was pounding in my chest. when the ceremony was over the priest announced us husband and wife Asher leans in and kisses me on the lips, his lips were soft and warm, and I felt a shiver run down my spine “ welcome to the pack Ashley”he said in a low voice. I took a deep breath and smile“it is good to be here” I say. we walked out of the church and into the waiting crowd our pack members cheer and clap as we walked our way into the reception. I know dat this marriage is a sham but I can't help but feel a flutter in my stomach.
