As we continue to breath, life seems to keep changing. Indeed, Life is filled with uncertainties. Just like yesterday, Nina was still with her father, eating and going to the beach together, with so much joy and merry. But now, everything seems strange and herself is all she's got. She cried herself to sleep every night. Nina was driving on her pink scooter which has different teddy printed all over it when a call came in on her phone. She haulted immediately to pick up. Nina's worry returned, she choked on her Saliva, her breath seized instantly, She has nothing but a frightened expression on her face. It was the loan agent, they had threatened to take her father's house as collateral if she doesn't return their money in less than three days. No, not her father's house. She panicked, Her hand shook, her phone nearly dropped from her hand. She refused to pick. Nina scrunched on her bike thinking for a way out, She couldn't afford to loose her father's house. Then her phone came ringing again. She couldn't recognize the number, but she picked anyway. She placed the phone slowly on her ear as she spoke. "Who is on the line?" "This is Gabriel from Snow Hill corporation, we are sorry to inform you that your game do not fit into the marketing strategy." "What?! that's not true, do you know how much time I've spent on coding that game?! No you did not look into it very well, I'm coming there now!" "Miss there's no need for that. Nothing can be done." "No this is not right, please hear me out, or I can make some corrections." Tears dropped down her eyes. "Please." She muttered one last time and hung up. She start her bike with the mindset of going to Snow Hill corporation. Her last hope, she couldn't take it. something must be done. She drove carelessly. Her father's house was at stake . The last thing he's left for her. ------------ Nina get to snow corporation within few seconds due to heavy speeding. "Sir give me a chance please, I'm begging you. I'm good, I know I'm good, please check it through again." "Yes you are good that's why it was reviewed by the CEO." "Then what is the problem? I know this is the actual coding for this game,or is it the game itself that didn't qualify? I can construct another one please just give me the chance." Tired and frustrated, Nina scrunched on her knees, thinking about her life. "Father, I can't do this anymore." She whispered with tears slowly forming in her eyes. "Miss you need to leave the premises now." She stood slowly to go, then several men walking in bulks passed her by with murmurs filled everywhere. "The CEO has arrived." Her eyes vigorously dashed towards the direction. "This is the Cold Grumpy that rejected my work.". She breathed angrily. She stood up abruptly to be standing in his front. "Miss." Gabriel tried to mouth to her and signaling with his hand but she was already gone too far. "I knew my work was good,why the rejection! Do you Know how hard it cost me to produce that work!! and you there reject it in seconds. That is cruel! cruel!" She voiced with so much energy and scrunched on her knees when tears start streaming down her eyes. "What is she blabbing and who is she?" Jack asked with his head twisted aside trying to figure out what just happened. "Security! Get her out." His manager asked. But Jack held out his hand stopping them from taking a step. "Who are you?! and what's all this about?! speak now or you get thrown out!" He speak fiercely. Nina stood up vigorously on his feet with so much tears on her face. "I.. I.. I am".. Her voice breaks, obviously from the cries. She kept cleaning her face, till her white cheeks got red, and her deep blue eyes darkened. "Send her to my office." Her smooth plumped lips moving up and down took all his attention. And then her hair, his eyes moves swiftly to her blonde hair, which was tied into a smooth pony tail. The shape of her face and features, she was an epitome of beauty. Jack was strucked by her beauty. Then his phone light show bright, he got an email jolting him from his reveries. His contenance changed, his face scrunched into a frown as he read the message. Then a Call followed immediately which he picked. "Father." He spoke. Nina, sat there taking in his etiquettes and fierce features. Face so cold enough to make anyone frightened, How she made it to his front and yell so loudly, amused her, indeed she was frustrated. Without uttering any more words, He dropped his phone and with his frown increasing. Then he smiled all of a sudden. "I have a job for you." He spoke with his eyes not leaving Nina. Nina's heart jumped in excitement, her joy knew no bounds. "I will be really greatful Sir." She spoke. "You surely will as it comes with enough payment to sort out your debt." She jubilate endlessly inside her mind when he dropped the bumbshell on her. "You will be my wife." "What?!" She couldn't believe her ears. "No, relax you are not being my real wife or anything. Just act as my wife for some days and you will be paid." He stated. "This can't be the job right?" "Since I'm going to pay you, then it's a job right?" "What kind of a job is that?" Nina so upset she stood up to go. "{Even if you want to hit on a girl, is this the way to go about it! How weird.}" She stood up immediately.
