Eleven MY INITIAL CONCERNS over Nate’s . . . creative, shall we say, article about the Myer Mansion proved unfounded. Mostly. Over the next couple of days, I received about half a dozen calls from various people calling themselves “paranormal investigators,” wanting to come to Myerton and try to get what they call scientific evidence of spectral activity in the Mansion. I turned them down, of course, not so much because I think such things are bunk—which I do—but because I didn’t want the plans for the Fairy Tales and Frights house disrupted.
