MY INITIAL CONCERNS over Nate’s . . . creative, shall we say, article about the Myer Mansion proved unfounded.
Mostly.
Over the next couple of days, I received about half a dozen calls from various people calling themselves “paranormal investigators,” wanting to come to Myerton and try to get what they call scientific evidence of spectral activity in the Mansion. I turned them down, of course, not so much because I think such things are bunk—which I do—but because I didn’t want the plans for the Fairy Tales and Frights house disrupted.
Requests for tickets continued to pour in, causing the Acutis society to add Thursdays to the schedule. Even then, they had to stop selling tickets when they topped a total of 5,000.
That’s $50,000 dollars for the St. Francis Center. Even Archbi
