---Elaine---- I awoke with a start, blinking in confusion at the sunlight flooding across my bed. For a second, I couldn’t understand it. My window… it wasn’t supposed to face the sun. Then it hit me. This wasn’t my old bedroom. This was Kave’s room. Technically mine too now, though it would take time before I ever felt any sense of ownership in this space. To my surprise, I had actually slept well in the new bed.
