Emma’s point of view
Emma walks out of the company not knowing what to feel. She breaths out a sigh and then stops her movements out of the building. The car in front of her awaits for her. She looks at the driver that stands close to the door. Emma then looks right and left on the streets. It was somewhere close, I should be. Those werewolves she felt in pain are in this city. People die everyday, she shouldn’t be concerned as she doesn’t know them. But they called out for her, she can’t let it go. She sighs once more and turns into left leaving the driver behind yelling her name out. He is calling out by her real last name, but she couldn’t care less. She doesn’t even turn to glance at what is he doing. Emma walks for a long time around streets to streets. This wasn’t close at all as she thought. She is breathing heavily at the “exercise” and squats down on an alley. ‘I shouldn’t have gotten so far.’ At least her phone is on her pocket still. She extends her hand to take out her phone, but as she faintly touches it “Agh” she hears a whine making her stop. ‘Are those them?’ She looks deeper into the alley. Emma gets up and turns into one of the corners. She freezes at the sight in front of her. She gasps and puts her hand into her mouth. She backs up to the wall. Three bodies lay down, completely covered with blood. She glances at what looks like a heart before shutting her eyes quickly and backing more to the wall. She breaths out and glances around with her eyes reddening. No one alive is around, no one that could have done it. She goes closer and gets in her knees. She checks their heartbeat by picking up their wrist, it’s her only little things she knew in emergencies. Her dad taught her as a doctor. She doesn’t find a pulse in neither of the three. Two mans and a women, two of the seem in their twenties. The other men seems on his early sixties. A sound sounds from behind her. She turns to see at where the trash cans are. Emma glances at the small bottle lying there. ‘Was that there before?’ She thinks to her herself. She gets up slowly and moves towards the garbages. One of them in her sight trembled for a second. She heard a crying before. She touches the trash can and takes her back almost immediately ‘ew’. Emma leans and sees a young girl no more that six years old. She has her hands on her mouth, her whole being is trembling. “Hey, it’s okay” she slowly reaches out to the small girl “It’s okay. They are gone now” “My sister?” The young soul whimpers out those two words. Emma’s hand freezes for seconds before he puts it back down. “I’m sorry” she softly says. The girl’s eyes were already red with tears streaming. Emma steps closer and puts her hand on her shoulder. A werewolf. “It’s okay” the girl curls up into a ball and her tears become stronger. Emma is surprised she hasn’t starting sobbing yet, her mouth hasn’t made a sound. Emma retracts her hand after confirming that she was a werewolf. Those lying dead were the werewolves she felt. She glances at them and then at the half soul in front of her. She gets up, “I will take you home” she extends her hand. The little girl puts her hand on Emma’s. Emma is kinda surprised she trusted her that easily, but still grateful. They start walking, after a while “Where exactly do you live?” She asks “Are you a human?” Emma’s eyes widen at her question, you don’t people like that. Her sight then fall straight ahead. “If I was human I would had taken you into a police station” ‘Probably’ “Or kidn*pped me” “Nah, it’s a broad daylight. People would notice” she says as a joke, but the little girl seems serious. “I’m kidding” She is not crying anymore making Emma wonder if she has accepted the death of her sister. Her face looks expressionless Emma guesses that the one dead girl was her sister. “Blood Coven” the girl tells Emma. Emma furrows her eyebrows poking at her. “Blood Coven? A Coven? Are you a witch?” This had her confused “I’m a werewolf. Blood Coven is my pack” ‘But coven is for witches, right?’ Emma leaves the topic away. They reach the forest. The sky has fallen into dusk. ‘It’s already that late’ Emma doesn’t know what time is but her legs are sure “killing” her. They get deeper into the forest, trees and all trees. Some voices are heard and she subconsciously look at that way. She steps closer into there, a small town greets her. ‘This must be her pack, Wow’ She feels the little girl letting her hand go “Wait, what’s your” ‘name’ the young girl runs into the arms of an elder women, crying with sobs and tears. “Eliza” Emma sees kids run up to her. ‘Hm, so that’s her name’ it doesn’t seems like anyone is looking at her. She glances around and turn to leave. As she walks the way out, she takes out her phone for GPS. She sees forty-nine missed calls, one from Jeremy and the others all from ‘Andrew’ she forgot completely about him. She calls him back as she walks out of the forest. “Andrew” “WHERE ARE YOU?!” She takes her phone away from the scream. She is completely surprised. He sounded really angry. “Oh, umm, I, I will send you the location. Let me find it first” she whispers the last part, mostly to herself. She checks where she is, having put him on hold before he yelled another word. That truly surprised her from his gentle look he showed. She opens her messages sending him the location. She puts the phone close to her ear once more “Oaky, it’s done. See ya then” she says happily and closes. The best way to deal with angry people is be happy, right?
