Her thoughts resolve around the little girl and what Laura told her. She unzips her backpack taking her phone out. She unlocks it and dials Laura’s number. “Hello?” “Where are you now?” “Connecticut” Emma hums “Come in New York” “Why?” “Because I don’t know who else to call for backpack expect you.” Emma can almost feel Laura rolling her eyes, she rolls her own. “Fine. Rent me an apartment” Emma frowns “I don’t have money” “Tsk, then I guess I have to live with you. Which hotel?” “I live in someone’s house?” “Who?” “A guy” she hears Laura gasp “Shut.Up.” “Sent me when you reach New York. I come to pick you up” Laura hangs up first. Her old friend will fill her up more when she comes. Right now, she needs to deal with that guy, Andrew. She had her fun. She starts the car driving away. He can be her biggest obstacle in this life. When they spend that night years ago, that’s where it just had happen. She gave half her soul to save him. Now reconnected she can’t leave him. Emma stops in a coffee shop. She haven’t drunk coffee since yesterday she went for shopping. She parks the car getting some stares on the expensive car. She used to stare like that when seeing them, now she ignores their stares. She steps inside. “Hi, what can I get you?” the barista approach’s her with a smile “An Americano, please” “Coming right away” he smiles while she smiles back waiting for her coffee. She watches him making it. After some minutes her coffee is out right before her. “An Americano” She takes from her backpack the wallet and takes the money out. She grabs the coffee after handing him the dollars. She side smiles and leaves with a turn. Her smile wipes off inside the car. She takes many sips before putting it on the stand holder. She once again starts the car. She takes her thrown phone on the passenger’s seat. She dials Andrew phone, which surprisingly answers pretty fast to her calls. “Emma?” “Are you free” “Yes” he answers quickly to her question making her doubt it. “ I want you to take a trip with me. She can hear a chair moving from the line. “Where are we going?” “In a bar” a werewolf bar. “A bar?” “Yes. I’m coming to pick you up, are you in the company now?” “Yes.” “Cool. Wait for me there then.” She glances at the buildings “Actually, I’m close by.” Two minutes away at least if she remembers correct “Come downstairs and wait for me” she says. “Okay” she hangs up the phone and now she realizes that he is a CEO, which she asked him to wait for her outside his company. She at the phone but chooses to throw it aside. The phone rolls down the seat. “What the?” She leans to pick it and she puts it on the seat. She looks on the street and she sees the red light. ‘Did I just?’ She glances behind at the stopped cars. ‘s**t’ she then glances for cops leaning more down her body to almost hide. Her eyes slightly widen. She soon reaches the outside of the company building. She sees few figures standing there outside. Emma recognizes one as Andrew. She then sees Mathew too beside with along with unknown faces. She stops the car in front of them. As one reaches to open the car door, Andrew beats them to it. She takes her phone and backpack putting them in the backseats. He steps inside with his tall figure. His eyes dark shining in the day. He closes the door behind him. Emma waves at Mathew, while he smiles back bowing slightly. She turns in front starting the car and driving away. “We are going in a bar at bright day. You could had done better for a date” “It’s, it’s not a date. Is too meet a few people, learn informations” “About what?” She glances at him before looking at the road. “Rogues.” She says in a sigh “They have started something a revolution or some short of thing. I don’t even know, they go around killing packs, people” “So rogues are real” ‘Is that all he got’ “Yes. That little girl’s pack was wiped off in a night.” He nods at her words. He is a werewolf, he needs to know what is going on. Emma parks the car after almost half an hour. She gets out first. He follows after her. Emma glances at the sigh >. ‘They could had down better’ she thinks to herself. She goes to walk inside when a big guy steps in her way. “Excuse me, private club. You aren’t allowed in” She smiles tightly at the bold dude. He then glances behind her at Andrew which arrives and stand behind her. She glances at him to see him glaring darkly at the big guy. “You can go inside” gives the go. ‘Private club my ass’ It’s a club for werewolf’s. That’s why she brought Andrew at a day light with her. They step inside. It would had been easier to get in. She grins at the sight in front of her. They pass bodies dancing making their way into the bar. “Two whiskeys please” she says to the the guy she sees making drinks. The bartender glance at her and then at Andrew that stands too close to her. “Coming right away” he says. Emma turns to look for who would be the best to get informations out of. “Oh” she then thinks of Andrew “What would you like to drink?” The two whiskeys are set in front of her. “One vodka” he says to the bartender and not to her. She grabs both of them close to her. She drinks one in two goes. She sets the glass down with a loud thud.
