Emma’s point of view 3
Her eyes flatter from light. She opens them starring back at the sunlights. Emma groans and turns around. She closes her eyes for few seconds before realizing something isn’t right. She opens her eyes once more and stares at the side. Andrew isn’t there, he just have left. She started living with him five or less days, and still it feels kinda weird to stay with him. She isn’t complaining he left. She sighs and checks for her phone. She grabs it from beside the lamp. Emma checks for any calls fully awake in seconds. She then opens MUSIC and scrolls through. She stands sitting on the bed and taps play on > by her favorite artist. She chuckles at the reminder of her. She found her songs annoying as she sang it everyday back then. Now she just misses it. She gets up putting the volume high up and sits it on close the lamp again. She head towards the bathroom closing the door behind her. After minutes in there she opens the door heading out. She grabs her backpack from the corner chair and and looks for new clothes. She puts her backpack down after thinking some more. She bought new clothes yesterday. She looks at the closet. She steps inside and looks for the bags. She furrows her eyebrows when she doesn’t she any bags. Her eye catches colors at the black and white closet. She looks at the colored clothes, that’s the clothes she bought, all placed organized. ‘Did Sarah did this?’ She touches a sunflower dress with both hands. She glances at all of the them and her hand grabs a loose light blue dress. She takes her clothes off and puts it on. “Hm” she scoffs at how good it suits her. She looks for the shoes she bought and once she spots them she picks a pair of white boot heels. The music sounds mumbled in the closet but she still sways happily to the melody. She steps out of the closet picking her backpack once more. She zips it open and takes from inside black ordinary clips. Once she wears them she slides to her phones camera. Satisfied with the results she enters the bathroom to check the mirror. A phone camera often lies. Now, a mirror doesn’t lie when it comes in appearance. Emma puts her phone side her backpack and heads downstairs. No one seems to be there. “Miss Lander, you are awake” ‘oh’ the voice startles her as she heads for the door. She turns around to look at the little maid “Sarah”. She sees her glancing at her clothes and backpack. “Are you heading outside?” “Yup” “I made breakfast” “You can have it if you want. I’m gonna grab something out. Bye” Emma waves and gives a smile at her. She walks the few steps and opens the door closing it behind her too. On her face there is still a smile showing off her dimples. Emma glances at the driver. “Excuse me, is it possible for me to borrow a car?” She asks the driver in a small voice. Andrew has such a big house, he should have two cars or more at least. Right? “Master Young gave specific orders to drive around today, Madam” there it goes again with the madam. Her smile almost cracks and twists, but she still maintains it. “Then I can walk” “Madam” he calls out as she goes to leave. He sighs and it makes Emma feeling kinda guilty at making him in such a state. “I’m gonna show you the garage, please follow me” She nods at his words following him to the garage he said. She remembers Andrew showing it to her once. Will it be okay to take one of his cars? “Can I have that car keys, please?” He nods stepping to take the keys. After seconds of waiting he shows up handing her the keys. “Are you sure you can handle it, Madam” she haven’t drove since she got her license. “Of course, I am skilled at driving.” Her smile widens showing her teeth in a gummy smile. “Alright” he still looks hesitant. As she open the car door “O, also I didn’t get you name” she says “Eliot Smith” “Nice meeting you Eliot” she gets inside the car and Eliot steps to the side. The garage door is still open. Emma starts the car, after throwing her back beside her, and drives out really slow. ‘Let’s take it slow’ she pretends to not see Eliot’s expression. She coughs to the side. As she leaves the house’s sight and steps on the gas a little bit, she drives to the road. “Okay, I got this” she murmurs. Getting more familiar and kinda more comfortable, Emma drives to where she went with the little girl to the pack yesterday. First of all, Emma stops the car in front of Taco Bell. Taco Bell exists in every world in America. She chuckles ‘Glad for that’. She orders her food and grabs it to go. As she starts the car once more, she drives to where she originally wanted to go. With one hand on the wheel, she unpacks the plastic pack and picks a taco putting it on her mouth with the other hand, still she drives slow. Her eye widen in realization of something. She hasn’t called Andrew to ask him about the car. She puts the tacos down, with half on her mouth, and takes the phone out of her backpack. One missed called. Her eyes couldn’t widen more. “s**t” she dials the number and hears it ring while she puts it on speaker, her sight on the road. “Where are you?” “I’m on my way to a friend” not exactly a friend “Why didn’t you let Mr Smith drive you?” ‘He knows about it?’ “I just wanted to go alone. I borrowed you car also, I hope it’s not a problem” “What’s mine is yours” ‘Okay?’ She frowns slightly “Hold your both hands on the shell” she freezes and puts her phone down on the seat, placing her hand on the wheel. “I am” “Good.” She hears a knocking on his side of line. “I’m gonna close now, you just be busy, bye” she hangs up before he says a word, hoping he won’t be mad at her for doing so.
